Psychic Kids: Witnessing An Evolutionary Leap?

This has been a topic that's been on my mind for quite some time - psychic kids. I'm specifically focusing on the children born within the last 15 years, from 1995 onward. For lack of a better term, supernaturally gifted children are commonly referred to as "indigo children." These are children that posses special abilities or supernatural gifts such as clairvoyance, precognition, telepathy, healing abilities and the like.

We all know that mankind is due for an "evolutionary leap" of sorts. But what will that leap actually be? What type of a leap does Mother Nature feel would benefit mankind, particularly, it's survival?

As for me personally, I feel we are witnessing an evolutionary leap right now - particulary, in the last decade and a half. We've all seen the rise of paranormal popularity and we've witnessed New Age thinking take some serious roots in the last 30+ years. What was once easily dismissed by the masses is apparently becoming more difficult to ignore. And why is that? Lets think about that for a moment.

Bear with me here, but could it be. . . could it just be, that because people have been cracking open their minds in the last 30 years - they've created a catalyst of sorts for this evolutionary leap to take place?

By that, I mean this. Say 35 years ago, a man and a woman started expanding their minds during the late 60's era. This couple then bears children. They have already expanded their thinking and therefore, they will pass this expanded way of thought down to these children. Because they are children and because they are children of expanded thought, their minds are really much more wide open than the previous generation. So lets refer to them as "generation one" here.

Now, years later, two children from "generation one" become a couple and bear children of their own. The grandparents are open minded, the new parents are open minded and their children, whom we'll refer to as "generation two," are really open minded.

Years have passed and now "generation two" is coupling up and begins bearing children of their own - and in comes "generation three." This generation is very special because they are hailing from three previous generations of expanded thinkers. Three generations of people who have not closed the mind, but encouraged opening it. These children hail from a generation that was told "that doesn't exist" or "this isn't real" a whole lot LESS than previous generations. So for them, topics that were completely dismissed 40 years earlier are on the table - being discussed openly and explored honestly.

The human brain is like a computer. If you load a program into a computer, your computer runs it. If you never loaded the program, your computer won't be running it. Get what I'm saying? If you tell someone "they can't" or "that doesn't exist" then their brain is immediately programmed with that code - and BAM, the door is shut. Even though they have the ability to run that program, they never will, thus the birth of the closed mind. However, encouraging expanded thinking and believing that anything is possible can yield some astonishingly successful results - purely because you believe. At that point, your mind is open and anything is possible. And if you're like me and you believe in the Law of Attraction, if you believe that when you think - you produce, then you get where I'm going with this.

If you have three generations of "believers" and expanded thinkers . . . and if you believe that when you think, you produce . . . then it only makes sense that by the third generation, we'd begin to see those open minded thought results manifesting into being. We'd begin to see the results of three generations of open minded, expanded thinking and believing.

And What Might the Ultimate Outcome of that Be?

A new generation of mankind. A new generation that is a group of open minded believers and expanded thinkers. Their brains can do more because they've not been curtailed in any manner of thought. Their brains are allowed to form the neural connections necessary for an evolutionary leap - the leap into the precognitive era of mankind. (If you'd like a visual reference to what I'm speaking of, check out this graph and notice that it moves into the "emergence of the precognitive era" of mankind leading up to the year 2012.)

It probably comes as no surprise that I watch "Psychic Kids: The Children of the Paranormal" on A&E. And while I watch, I'm always making note of the age of the children. And what I've found is that the group born from 1995 onward really seems to be making the big leap, the children leading up to the new millennia. These children are beginning to experience their gifts as young as 3, 4 and 5 years of age. And unlike generations previous, their parents aren't scoffing at them and telling them "that's a bunch of BS" or "that doesn't exist." Their parents are witnessing things that can't be denied and many want to help their children. Particularly, many want to help their children help others.

Ahhh, compassion. It feels good, doesn't it? I watch that show and I feel the compassion in these children. I sense their desire to make sense of their gifts. I sense their desire to make use of their gifts - in the form of helping others. Finally! A generation that's focused on compassion and helping their fellow man. It's about time.

I think that it could be quite possible that the New Age era of the 60's and 70's was the seed that planted the catalyst for mankind's next evolutionary leap into it's precognitive era. Humans have always had the gift of sense buried deep. However, with those gifts now being encouraged over the last 30+ years, we're seeing a whole new generation that's quite different in their thinking from previous generations and most importantly, a generation that's motivated to help others.

Once again, just some food for thought, folks. Have faith in the future . . . the best is yet to come.

One Scientific Theory About Ghosts

I am a subscriber to a great magazine publication by the name of "Spirituality & Health." The March/April issue has a really interesting article titled, "The Anatomy of A Haunting." The piece is written by, Michael Jawer, as he explores a particular case study and his scientific theory about ghosts and apparitions. What makes it a really interesting theory is that it makes some significant scientific sense.

Here's a bit of the background on the case study as Michael writes, "In 1973 and 1974, something odd was evidently taking place on board Eastern Airlines L-1011 jets. Passengers and crew on those planes saw, heard and even spoke to solid looking apparitions of two crew members, Captain Bob Loft and Second Officer Don Repo, who had perished following the crash of Eastern Airlines Flight 401 into the Florida Everglades on December 29, 1972.

The apparitions were readily identifiable as Officers Loft and Repo. The appeared and disappeared in front of pilots, flight engineers, or flight attendants completely unexpectedly and usually in flight. According to a meticulously researched book that came out a few years later titled, "The Ghost of Flight 401." Passengers who did not know either of the men identified them without hesitation from photographs."

Now, here's a bit of background on the scientific aspect as Michael writes, "About a year and a half ago, Luc Antoine Montagnier, a French virologist and Nobel laureate for work identifying the HIV virus, found that some supposedly sterile solutions, which were carefully filtered to remove pathogenic bacteria, turned out to have bacteria colonies after two or three weeks of incubation. The holes in the filter were much to small for any of the bacteria to get through, yet somehow, the bacteria reappeared."

Montagnier soon determined the cause - filtered dilutions of the sterile solution carried electromagnetic traces of the bacteria and "these electromagnetic traces contain genetic information."

The Implications of This are HUGE

Jeff writes, "If bacteria leave behind measurable energetic traces that contain significant information, shouldn't people be capable of the same thing? The next question is how energetic traces of some people might sometimes become amplified to be detectable as apparitions." However, Jeff wanted to add a very important and extremely powerful ingredient to the mix - EMOTION. Emotion plays a huge role and the energy that emotion generates and accumulates is said to be able to leave it's mark on physical matter, time and space.

You see, Repo and Loft did not immediately perish in the disaster. Both survived a time before finally perishing. And in those desperate hours, their brains were in panic mode. When the human brain is in panic mode or "flight or fight" mode, " your amygdala will instantly activate your body’s fight-or-flight hormones and prepare your sympathetic nervous system (heart and lungs, muscles, and gut) for possible action."

It's important to note Michael's mention of the gut here as well. You see, recent studies have proven that your gut contains more nerve sensors than your spinal chord does. So when people say, "listen to your gut," there is plenty of merit to that statement. It's a built-in, primal survival element. Your dog can sense danger before you do - and before seeing it - because your dog is not as far removed from it's primal survival instincts as we humans have now become. We no longer live in caves or are stalked by other species besides ourselves, so we tend to not use these primal instincts as much these days. Modern man tends to live in a world built upon false securities. But the simple fact remains, the system is still in place.

And what happens when a living creature enters "flight or fight" mode? First of all, there's a moment of hesitation. A brief split second in time, like a deer caught in the headlights, before your amygdala will direct your next action. This brief split second in time is what Michael refers to as a "flash point." In that moment of time, frozen with flight or fight, your body begins accumulating enormous amounts of energy. Your body begins to "rev it's engines" and fire up it's internal resources of power in preparation for the next action. But where does all that accumulated energy release to if one is unable to take the next appropriate action because they are injured or incapable of doing so?

Michael theorizes that that energy can actually be released into the immediate environment. Forever imprinting the genetic code to reappear when the conditions are right. Just like the electromagnetic genetic trace of energy in the petri dish granted the bacteria the opportunity to reappear weeks later when no bacteria should've appeared at all - so too, it is theorized, that the human body can leave an energetic trace genetic imprint in the environment, thus allowing oneself to reappear at a later time.

Emotion Is The Key

This theory again reaffirms, at least for me, the enormous potential that emotion plays in the lives of living, breathing creatures. Take, for instance, the Law of Attraction. Many try it without success. Further research into the matter will soon have them find that "emotion" is the KEY to making it work. Pure, selfless emotion or intention is the key. Further research into the world of quantum mechanics has also rendered similar facts. Take, for instance, the double blind slit test where the scientists themselves, through observation, influenced the particles by placing their "intention" upon them. The scientists, their emotion and their intention had a direct effect on the end result and what they determined - was that thought creates and thus manifests the outcome.

When you think, you produce a measurable form of energy called a neuropeptide. When you place emotion or intention behind that thought, it's possible to influence the outcome and this is because we live in a quantum world of possibility. Ever constant "possibility." And sub-atomic particles, of which we are all made of, can bounce from particle form (solid matter) to wave form (energetic matter) and back again.

So if a thought can produce a measurable form of energy called a neuropeptide, then imagine if your brain were in panic mode and your body began producing enormous amounts of energy and your intentions and emotions were running on high. I would agree with Michael and say that, in those instances, leaving a measurable, permanent affect on the immediate environment - is very likely.

This Begs the Next Question

What if someone didn't die under those conditions but is still seen as an apparition? To me, this would indicate that large amounts of energy may have already been accumulated and imprinted on the environment by the individual in a "flash point" moment. Maybe the individual was grieving heavily in that space? Or maybe the individual was heavily reflecting in that space? Or maybe the individual carried a hidden desire deep within them on a daily basis that was left as "unfinished business" but had huge amounts of emotion involved?

At some point, maybe - just maybe, this individual created "flash points" of high levels of emotion regarding situations in their life - during their life - that left the imprint while they were still living? And these "flash points" of high emotion in those particular spaces thus enabled them to leave a genetic imprint and reappear at later dates.

It's all just theory and speculation at this point . . . but I think the advances in the realm of quantum scientific studies are going to prove some very amazing and hard-to-understand truths for all of us in the very near future. Extraterrestrial Intelligent Life: Fact or Fiction?

Unfortunately, the topic of the existence of intelligent life (other than ourselves) in this universe has become one of tabloid fodder and ridicule. But the reality of the situation is this. Our universe is relatively unknown to us and still holds many mysteries yet to be discovered. And just when we think we're starting to gain an understanding of it, we are reminded of our humbling, minuscule presence within it.

Take, for example, the Hubble Deep Space project. In 2003, astronomers aimed the Hubble telescope at a single, one-inch square of absolutely dark, empty space (or so they thought) for 11 days and what they found absolutely astonished them.

When the image was reviewed, astronomers discovered that over 10,000 galaxies (galaxies, not stars) existed in that seemingly empty one-inch of space in the farthest reaches of our universe. A universe that is 47 billion light years in radius. The video below is a nice portrayal of just exactly how large our universe is and discusses the Hubble Deep Space project in detail:

We can understand the size of our Galaxy, The Milky Way Galaxy. But can we truly understand the size of our universe? Apparently, some cannot. Unbelievably, many people still believe that we are the only form of intelligent life that exists within it regardless of what logic may reveal. If you do the numbers and then look at the odds - you soon come to realize that it is completely ignorant to perpetuate that belief. It becomes more believable to agree with those that claim the government has known of the existence of alien life for years, but simply chose to develop the campaign of ridicule that began in the 1950's so as to not spread fear and paranoia amongst the masses. If you're still convinced that our government doesn't accept this as fact themselves, then try the video below on for size. This is NASA footage of two orbs visiting the Space Shuttle in flight. You can hear the discussion (or lack thereof, due to amazement) taking place between mission control and the Space Shuttle. Many consider these orbs to be probes. Unmanned alien aircraft that have the ability to bounce inter-dimensionally thus allowing them to disappear and reappear in our 3 dimensional material world at will. And much to the surprise of many, the Vatican just recently acknowledged the possibility of the existence of alien life and there are also recent reports that world leaders have attended United Nations meetings on the topic and that the Vatican's announcement followed shortly thereafter one of those meetings. It's quite possible that our world leaders are now attempting to reverse the ridicule that began in the 1950's and are now trying to figure out a way to slowly divulge this information as fact to the public at large. Worldwide Extraterrestrial UFO Landings: 2012

Seattle Expoloitics Examiner, Alfred Lambremont Webre, wrote a very thought provoking piece on Examiner.com regarding potential "Wild Card" UFO landings worldwide leading up to the year 2012. The piece is Part I in a multi-part series on possible "wild card" extraterrestrial UFO mass landings.

Alfred (and, as you will soon discover, possibly even President Barack Obama) believe that it's very possible that in the next coming few years . . . society and the human race may be in for a real shock. One of universal proportions. But before we get into that, let's take a look at "wild card" events themselves.

Alfred explains, "John Petersen author of 'Out of The Blue - How to Anticipate Big Future Surprises' defines "wild card" events as "Low Probability, High Impact events that, were they to occur, would severely impact the human condition. A low probability event does not mean, however, that the event cannot be identified and predicted within the parameters of scientific research or expert-based opinion."

By this point you may be wondering . . . where would he get this ET idea from? Well, the piece gets even more interesting and goes on further to say:

"On February 20, 2009, this column introduced reverse speech evidence of a future extraterrestrial UFO “wild card” event by Canadian speech recognition expert and former CBS radio producer Jon Kelly in an article entitled, Barack Obama’s inaugural speech predicts “extraterrestrial event” on scale of Iraq war says expert.

With over 10 years of clinical practice and hundreds of publicly witnessed demonstrations Jon Kelly is one of the world's most sought-after practitioners in the field of secret backwards messages. The interview covers Kelly's analysis of how George W. Bush's inaugural address of January 20, 2001 revealed subconscious reverse speech secret messages about war - the Iraq war, 2 years before the illegal invasion of Iraq. As opposed to Bush, Obama's subconscious messages are not about war during his administration. Obama’s secret messages are about predominant extraterrestrial events during his presidency.

Kelly states that the same way that the George W. Bush presidency was characterized by war; the Obama presidency years may be characterized by large-scale extraterrestrial events or extraterrestrial impacts in our terrestrial society."

It's obvious that mankind is on the brink of something big. Now, what that "big" is, I do not know. But I DO know it's coming. A new way of life for mankind is going to emerge. Alfred's research suggests that Obama's secret messages can be analyzed to show that the "something big" that's on its way may be "alternative possibilities: a large-scale extraterrestrial event, the emergence of extraterrestrial-derived energy, and/or large-scale extraterrestrial disclosure by terrestrial authorities and/or by extraterrestrials themselves."

Sound crazy? Sometimes truth is stranger than fiction, folks. And this part, "large-scale extraterrestrial disclosure by terrestrial authorities" is already beginning to happen. The Vatican recently disclosed their acknowlegment that the possibility of alien life exists and apparently, the United Nations has held several somewhat secret meetings about the matter with various world leaders.

I guess you could call it "damage control." They did damage control in the 1950's to keep fear and paranoia from spreading and created a smear campaign against any and all thoughts that alien life could exist. They turned the topic into a household joke in order to cover up the reality of it. Now, years later, it seems that they are yet again, performing damage control. Only this time, they're trying to figure out how to undo their last attempt at it. Now they have to figure out how to get the masses to accept the idea, indeed the harsh reality, that we are not alone in this universe. Ah, the wicked web we weave . . . when we attempt to deceive.

Google Earth Street View: Unearthly UFOs Spotted

There appears to be a lot of buzz generating on the Net about 9 strange unidentified flying objects recently photographed flying over London on Google's new Street View, part of Google Earth.

The UFOs were spotted cruising above Wolverley Street in Bethnal Green, East London by an 18 year old woman who was using the new Street View service to search for friends in that location.

GoogleSightSeeing.com also spotted something unusual and took things a step further when users of the sight made some additional discoveries that made their find even more interesting. They discovered that there are 8 unidentified silver spheres over Florida and another 13 over Los Angeles, California. They pinpointed the locations on a map and further discovered that these objects appear to be in a straight line formation.

They also reported that the close up images taken in Florida were taken by Aerials Express at an altitude of 17,500 feet confirming that they are indeed aerial photos and not satellite images. Google has since deleted the image pictured above.

So, what do you think? Are little green men watching us? Are the pictures legitimate or system anomalies? I don't know and no one truly knows what these images are so opinions will vary and skeptics will rant. I don't know if aliens are little green men and I don't know if they were cruising the skies over London in the photo pictured here or if the flying orbs pictured at GoogleSightSeeing are anything significant or real.

But one thing I do know is that it's arrogant, ignorant and foolish to assume that we are the only form of intelligent life thriving in this universe.

It's easy to poke fun at the topic thanks to the many ridiculous interpretations over the years via the television and movies. Many of their interpretations do make it a laughing matter. But logically . . . it makes sense that there would be other forms of intelligent life out there. Statistically speaking, the odds are that there is. Even our ancient ancestors seemed to understand that better than modern man. There are many images and depictions of various space crafts and "gods of the sky" including the famed Madonna with Giovannino painted in the 15th century by Domenico Ghirlandaio and primitive Italian cave paintings dating back to 11,000 B.C.

Not convinced? Think about this for a moment. In 1995, scientists decided to aim the Hubble at what they thought was an empty one inch point in outer space for 10 days and what they discovered rocked their world. The Hubble scientists discovered over 3,000 galaxies in that one inch patch of empty sky.

But it gets better. In September of 2003, the scientists again aimed the Hubble at one inch of black space using improved filters for 11 days. It is the farthest the Hubble has ever peered into space - 47 billion light years away - and is hailed as the single most important image ever taken by humanity. The Hubble scientists amazingly discovered over 10,000 galaxies housed in that one inch of seemingly empty black space.

Galaxies folks. Not stars . . . 10,000 galaxies.

And each of those galaxies has millions of stars, any one of which may be supporting intelligent life. To boggle the mind a bit more, I'll add the fact that there are some 500,000 million galaxies in our Milky Way alone.

Now, what do you think the odds are that intelligent life exists elsewhere within our universe?

To deny that it does is the ignorance and arrogance of man. Our superiority here on earth has gone to our heads and we somehow think we're special. The reality of it is that I doubt we truly are. But man's fear won't allow many of us to otherwise accept what seems completely logical.

Clearly, we can't possibly be the only one's here and to continue to believe that we are and that we're somehow special is just absurd.

Psychometry: A Mystical Phenomenon Or Logical And Explainable

To introduce you to Psychometry we should start with a brief explanation of what it is and what you can do with it so let's get started. Psychometry is the ability to obtain information for an object such as impressions left by the owner or surroundings. There are many opinions as to how or why can this be possible. Some will say it comes form other dimensions such as spirits, others will tell you it is a vibrational imprint of sorts.

Most will accept that a person, for example, has a scent and can be smelled and even tracked by an animal such as a dog. Science tells us that light, color or radio waves vibrate at a particular frequency rate - virtually all things vibrate.

Vibrations such as radio waves are captured and converted into audio frequencies that we can hear. Our eyes capture and convert vibrations or frequency into colors that we can see yellow, red, blue, etc. so information can be obtained. So lets ask ourselves, "Why then, would it not be possible to hold or touch an object and obtain information or leave a vibrational imprint or scent on the object?"

No, we are not radios, in the sense of the word, so how would we obtain that information?

For starters, we have senses such as hearing, seeing, feeling, smelling and tasting. By using these, we can extract information from our surroundings. A good analogy would be pizza. We smell it, we instantly know what it is. And, very likely, this is then confirmed shortly thereafter by sight, taste and even texture - all senses that ultimately confirm "yes, that it is pizza."

So, let me run this by you - have you ever watched a container of water when bumped or sitting near machinery ripple? Depending on the excitable motion around it will make several big or many smaller ripples or vibrations.

Now let us go one step further and ask what the body's volume of water is? Science tells us the answer is somewhere around 90%. Why then, if we are of high volumes of liquid, would we not ripple or vibrate? Now, if we touch or hold an object, would it not transfer that vibration to the object? An object in motion will remain in motion until stopped by an immovable object.

We now know that all things are made from atoms and atoms have components in constant motion, protons, neutrons, etc. Although we perceive mass, such as a table as solid object, in reality it is not. Without scientific tools, we can only sense and perceive with the tools Mother Nature gives us. If I bumped the table with my knee, I would dispute the fact it was not solid.

I guess it is sometimes hard to except what is over what is perceived, but we find ourselves depending on what is perceived to guide our decisions. Ok, if you can accept my attempt to logically approach the possibility of reading the footprint or residue left on an object - how then do we go about extracting it?

First, I think it is a must to place ourselves in a receptive state. In doing this, we must clear our mind and raise our vibration through something like song or meditation. Song. . .sound. . .water. . .ripple. . .vibration? Does this all make some sort of sense with the preceding explanations?

Try Extracting information from a friend or relative - obtain an object. Holding the object or touching it, ask these questions and wait for a few moments for the perceived answer.

1. What do I feel while holding? Happy, Sad?

2. What do I smell? Pizza, ocean?

3. What do I hear? Car, machinery?

4. What do I taste? Coffee, food?

5. What impressions do I get about the owner or surroundings? Tall man, trees?

6. What do I see? Water, birds?

7. What is my general over all impressions? A happy man who loves the ocean and worked on a ship.

Perhaps the man was tall, liked pizza and enjoyed his coffee?

Many find it surprising just how accurate one can be with the first try. But like all, shall I say "skills" . . .you must practice to become proficient. Don't stop. There are many questions that could be asked and many more perceptions can add much more detail to the overall outcome.

Could it be that as we have evolved. . . we tend to rely too heavily on newer technology to guide us in our every day actions and perceptions? Because in the days of yore - when we were hunters and gathers - we had to rely on using our expanded senses to survive. You know, those "gut feelings."

Vatican Acknowledges Possibility Of Extraterrestrial Alien Life

In an article titled, "The Extraterrestrial is My Brother," during an interview for the Vatican newspaper L'Osservatore Romano, Vatican astronomer, Jesuit Father Jose Funes, director of the Vatican Observatory acknowledged the possibility that alien life exists in the universe.

Father Funes states that such a belief does not contradict faith because any form of extraterrestrial life would be considered God's creature as well. He goes on to state that biomarkers are now being used in spectrum analysis of other stars and planets in the search for extraterrestrial life. The Vatican astronomer said that "astronomy was a science that can open people's minds and hearts and bring them closer to God. The idea that astronomy leads to an atheistic view of the universe is a myth."

Wow.

I don't know if you are as astonished by this as me, but I must say that I'm surprised. Not because it doesn't seem perfectly logical to assume that other life forms exist out there - to me it does - but because this is a big step for the church in my opinion. And it's been a long time coming.

The discussion became even more surprising to me when Father Funes was quoted as saying, "As an astronomer, I can say that from the observation of stars and galaxies there emerges a clear evolutionary process." It is Father Funes' belief that the Big Bang Theory is the most plausible explanation for the origin of the universe.

What? Again, this has been a long time coming, but . . . are these guys ever going to make up their mind?

For those of you who may not know, Galileo Galilei was tried in 1633 as a heretic and forced to recant his theory that the Earth revolves around the sun because teachings at that time placed the Earth at the center of our universe. Pope John Paul corrected this in 1992 when he declared that the ruling against Galileo was an error resulting from a "tragic mutual incomprehension."

So it seems the church may now be attempting to rectify old wrongs and the Vatican Observatory is now a leader in it's efforts to bridge the gap between science and religion. Its meteorite collection is actually considered one of the world's finest.

Now granted, there is a difference between the Vatican's chief astronomer and the Vatican itself, but nonetheless. . .this is quite interesting isn't it?

Another reason that I find this interesting? With the year 2012 looming in the near future and all the discussion about whether it's literally the end of our world or simply the end of our world as we know it. . .it occurs to me that the timing for this is rather interesting. Examiner reports:

"The Vatican’s new openness on extraterrestrial life is consistent with reports of secret discussions held at the United Nations that began in February 2008. The Vatican’s permanent representative to the UN, Archbishop Celestino Migliore, was reported to have attended along with a number of other prominent government officials to discuss increased UFO sightings and the implications of extraterrestrial visitation."

Ready for more? How about this?

"Obama's secret messages can be analyzed to show that the "something big" that's on its way may be "alternative possibilities: a large-scale extraterrestrial event, the emergence of extraterrestrial-derived energy, and/or large-scale extraterrestrial disclosure by terrestrial authorities and/or by extraterrestrials themselves."

Now, I don't necessarily believe that any one dramatic event will take place in the year 2012. Personally, I believe that during the years preceding and following the year 2012 we will begin to "shift" as a society and our views and priorities as a race will be changing accordingly. I believe we have been progressively moving into a spiritual age with "critical mass" being attained around the year 2012. (The electromagnetic energy that will begin to bombard the earth from the planetary alignment with our galaxy's blackhole will assist us in attaining this enlightenment by "opening" areas of the mind and creating new ways of thinking.)

I would even go so far as to say that this "doomsday" that everyone is waiting for . . . surprise. We've all been living through it for about the last 100 years or so. The four horseman of the apocalypse have ridden through.

We are moving into an age when people will realize that there are more important things in life besides technology, progress, money and industry. We will begin to focus on our spirituality, our divinity, advances in quantum physics, possibly the discovery of something bigger than ourselves, our environment - and the importance of caring for your fellow man.

Something that I think man has forgotten there is great joy and satisfaction in.

It almost seems to me like this recent Vatican event could be viewed as one of many steps in preparing mans mind for the acceptance of such things.

Just an interesting observation on my part so for those of you prepared to bash me as some sort of paranoid schizophrenic, conspiracy theorist or whatever else you throw at me - trust me, I'm not. I don't run around like Chicken Little waiting for the sky to fall and calling these "end times." But I don't ignore certain things either. I always enjoy stepping back, taking myself out of the equation and looking at the big, big picture. I believe these are times of new beginnings and a chance for mankind to redeem itself and I look forward to what's to come. Even if it amounts to nothing at all.

And prepare folks. You can undoubtedly guarantee that we are not alone in this universe and to continue to honestly believe that we are the only form of intelligent life in existence - is purely ignorant.

Mayan Crystal Skulls and Quartz Technology

To the Mayan civilization, death was the giver of life. It was through the act of dying that one transcended through life into other dimensions. Legend has it that 13 life size crystal skulls exist carved of natural quartz crystal, some with movable jaws, that are said to "talk" or "sing." The skulls were said to be remnants from our earliest ancestors and that they contained information and knowledge.

Information on a grand scale. The skulls are said to contain the answers to human evolution, universal information, planetary information, and most valuable of all, humankind's destiny and true purpose. The legend claims that at a time of great need, the skulls will be discovered and reunited. The information they provide will save the human race. The legend forewarns, however, that mankind must be able to accept the knowledge morally and spiritually.

Variations of this legend exist in Native American tribes ranging from the Mayans, the Navajo Indians, the Aztecs, the Cherokee Indians, the Seneca Indians. These legends have been handed down through generations for literally thousands of years.

I'll skip right to the facts here. Frankly, the skull pictured shouldn't even exist. This is a photo of the Mitchell-Hedges Skull. There is a bit of mystery surrounding how this skull surfaced. Some, like the owner, claim that it was found in the jungle. Others have found record of it's sale at a well known auction house in the early part of this century. However it came to be discovered really isn't important. What is important is that we are discovering that what many thought to be mythology - is now becoming reality.

For generations, the Mayans spoke of great visions, prophecies, and wisdom obtained from "talking skulls." They claimed the skulls shot fire, sang, and spoke. Now, it seems, that may be somewhat true. The Mitchell-Hedges skull was sent to the Hewlett Packard labs in the early 1970's for intense study.

The results were absolutely startling and the scientists made the claim that "this skull shouldn't even exist."

Natural quartz crystal grows in the ground and can take billions of years to form. Intense heat and pressure is required as well as a "seed" crystal from which to grow from. As a result, impurities can run deep. As a matter of fact, much of the earth's natural quartz crystal contains impurities and retains no value to the electronics industry.

For those of you who don't know, quartz crystal is the basis to our modern day computers. However, the purest form is required and, as a result, scientists now must grow their own quartz using a natural seed from which to grow it from.

So now that you have an understanding of the rarity of a large natural, virtually pure, piece of crystal - let's get into the astonishing results the HP scientists reached. The skull was submersed into Benzyl alcohol, having exactly the same refractive index of pure crystal. When this was done, the skull "disappeared" indicating it was of the purest, natural, form.

A polarized light test concluded that the piece was one large, natural, piece of crystal. It was not created by fusing several together. Amazingly, the detachable lower jaw was carved from the very same piece of crystal. Pure crystal is a hard material, being only slightly softer than diamond. But it has a very brittle quality and shatters rather easily. The scientist determined that carving the skull using modern day tools could take up to one year.

The scientists felt that it was not even possible to do so using these tools. The heat and vibration would surely crack the crystal. The scientists took particular note of that with regards to the bottom jaw and the teeth. There was simply no way modern day equipment would not damage the piece. The scientists magnified the skull and found no tool marks, tool chatter or scratches. As a result, the HP scientists had to conclude the skull was carved by hand. This was a phenomenal discovery to them. This would have had to have been done by rubbing the crystal with sand and water. According to the HP scientists. . . .this would've taken 300 years.

They also concluded that the sand used would've had to have been graded down from finer sand to more coarse sand. One wrong rub and it all could have been over. Not only was this one rare, large, pure, piece of natural quartz crystal, but for those of you who don't know this - crystal conducts energy. It's what is called piezo-electric crystal.

This is precisely the type of crystal that is used in modern electronics, computers, time keeping devices, radios, radar and sonar.

This means the crystal has both positive and negative polarity similar to that of a battery. If you apply pressure to the skull - it generates electricity. As well, it changes molecular shape if you apply an electric current to it which affects its density. It can carry a current in six directions. In any other direction, it becomes an insulator. More interestingly, it is also vertically oriented as well. The axis runs directly through the center of the skull. If you apply an electric current to the top, it changes shape and the current passes through the bottom. If you reverse the direction, the polarity reverses.

The skull is capable of channeling light through the bottom and directly out the eye sockets - like a laser - due to its incredible optical axis. And it can generate enough heat through its optical qualities and can start fires by directing beams of light through the eye sockets. This must've been quite a sight to the Mayan people during rituals.

Here's where it gets really strange. Light travels faster in one direction through the skull than in the other. If you direct polarized light at the skull, it passes quicker through one area and, as a result, the skull rotates the light traveling along its axis. The skull is resistant to chemical damage and can hold an electrical charge at a constant frequency. The skull can hold energy. What does this mean? It means that the skull can send electrical impulses and vibrating waves of information.

Technically, the skulls CAN contain information - just like the Mayans have claimed for thousands of years in their mythology. Could it be that we have discovered the Mayan equivalent of a modern day computer?
