"Mirror, Mirror on the wall . . . where did he go, and why doesn't he call?"

None of Us Are Doing God's Will

These days, there is a lot of speculation that we are living in and experiencing what is called "end times." However, I believe that the human race has the ability to manifest our reality. And just because someone tells you these are "end times" doesn't mean that that is what they actually have to be. Because even if it starts out that way, it doesn't have to end that way. However, if you are consumed by the news and media, and swallow all that your being fed, then it's quite possible that these could be end times.

What I'm saying is, it's up to US.

I'd like to think that the human race is intelligent enough to use that which makes them different from any other living creature on this earth. . . your "free will." As humans, we are granted the will to change, become or evolve into anything that we see fit. It's a gift from the heavens. And the more that people think it, the more it will become a part of the "global consciousness."

Imagine if the earth emanated an energy. An energy that was the composition of the human race's thoughts. Right now, what do you think that energy would be? Anxiety? Fear? Hatred? Violence? Greed? I shudder to think it. It's a fact, man is the most violent creature living on this planet. And if you believe the spiritual teachings regarding the Law of Attraction and that "like energy attracts like energy" - then what do you think is in store for us here?

What you put out there - is what you get back. Karma will step in to balance things out. It's a natural law. You can't change it. You get what you give and that's that. And it's a cycle that can continue on and on, back and forth - unless it is consciously stopped.

It is extremely important in times like these to question things and to not buy into all that is being fed to you. Consciously focus your thoughts on change for the greater good. If we can all do that, then it's quite possible that we can change the energy that we are emitting as a human race and create a better world for all of us to live in.

No one questions anything anymore. Everyone is too busy burying their faces in their latest gadget, sucking in hours and hours of television, media and advertising with a feeling of detachment that provides a false security. This is a very fragile world we live in, folks. If our infrastructure were to collapse, that'd be all she wrote. And just because you live in America doesn't mean that you're immune to the disastrous happenings of the world. Stop buying everything that your being sold and begin to think for yourself. Speak up when you see a "wrong" being committed. Become comfortable in speaking against that which you do not believe. Do not fear being questioned. Do not fear being ridiculed. Do not fear those that scream louder than you and use fear tactics to control and intimidate. If something feels wrong in your gut, then say so. Listen to those gut instincts and care for your fellow man. Help rather than hinder.

And if someone wrongs you. . . become the enlightened version of man and rise above it. Teach compassion in the face of opposition and others will follow your lead.

If, as a society, we can all raise our consciousness, our energy, to this enlightened state of thought - then it just may be that life as we know it in 2012 will change for the better. But remember, the only way to initiate change - is to question daily that which you're being fed.

Watch the video below. Because we don't want to see more of this, right? Man's greed cloaked in disguise. (Images contained within this video may be disturbing.) It's up to you, folks. We CAN initiate change.

"Never doubt that a small group of committed people can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has." ~ Margaret Mead

He Sees You, And Loves You Still

Have you ever heard the Alanis Morrissette song, "Still?" Alanis wrote this song from the perspective of God speaking to mankind.

I can relate to the personal journey of Alanis Morrissette in many ways. Her hit album, "Jagged Little Pill" exploded onto the scene after it's release in 1995 and at that time, it was clear . . . Alanis had been through the ringer so-to-speak.

In the album, she shared her raw emotion about heartbreaks, lost love and anger in vivid detail and the album has sold approximately 17 million copies since.

Ironically, Alanis Morissette's most creative moments - and greatest successes in life - actually came from her personal tribulations and deep sorrow.

After the huge success of that album, Alanis took a year and a half off and spent time in India where she rejuvenated herself and refreshed her soul seeking new inspirations for creativity.

And low and behold, the jaded jewel came back singing positive praises and sending gratitude. She was no longer that angry, jaded girl and that single experience changed her forever.

Alanis credits her spiritual experiences in India for the inspiration for this:

"I am the harm which you inflict; I am your brilliance and frustration. I'm the nuclear bombs if they're to hit; I am your immaturity and your indignance. I am your misfits and your praised; I am your doubt and your conviction. I am your charity and your rape; I am your grasping and expectation.

I see you averting your glances; I see you cheering on the war. I see you ignoring your children; and I love you still. And I love you still.

I am your joy and your regret; I am your fury and your elation. I am your yearning and your sweat; I am your faithless and your religion. I see you altering history; I see you abusing the land. I see you, your selective amnesia; and I love you still. And I love you still.

I am your tragedy and your fortune; I am your crisis and delight. I am your profits and your prophets; I am your art, I am your vice. I am your death and your decisions; I am your passion and your plight. I am your sickness and convalescence; I am your weapons and your light.

I see you holding your grudges; I see you gunning them down. I see you silencing your sisters, and I love you still. And I love you still. I see you lie to your country; I see you forcing them out. I see you blaming each other; and I love you still. And I love you still."

Ever Wonder What Hate Looks Like?

Have you ever wondered what hate would look like in physical form? How about love? What does love look like in physical form?

Well, those questions and more were brilliantly answered by Masaru Emoto in two books titled, "The Hidden Messages in Water" and "Love Thyself: The Message from Water." In these books, Mr. Emoto reveals the results of his various studies conducted with water and controlled experiments with "energy" emittance and its affects.

In his experiments, Mr. Emoto "energized" water with thoughts, feelings, music, prayers and emotions. He sent love to one water sample and hate to another. He played heavy metal music towards one, and then played "Amazing Grace" to another. He sent thoughts of Mother Theresa to one, and thoughts of Adolph Hitler to another. He then froze the water. Once frozen, the water was then sliced and it's crystal formations were viewed under a microscope.

And the results were no less than astounding.

What Mr. Emoto ended up with was scientific evidence for the effects of energy upon material existence:

"From Mr. Emoto's work we are provided with factual evidence, that human vibrational energy, thoughts, words, ideas and music, affect the molecular structure of water, the very same water that comprises over seventy percent of a mature human body and covers the same amount of our planet. Water is the very source of all life on this planet, the quality and integrity are vitally important to all forms of life.

The body is very much like a sponge and is composed of trillions of chambers called cells that hold liquid. The quality of our life is directly connected to the quality of our water."

For those of you requring proof as opposed to having faith, here it is. But you're still wondering what hate looks like, right? Watch the video below and you can see all of the effects that the energy we send to one another and shroud ourselves in everyday has on us.

Remember, we are composed of approximately 60-70% water, folks. . . .

P.S. I happen to think peace is beautiful . . . choose for yourself.

The Human Condition of Selfishness

Nothing makes a person uglier or more repelling to others - than the human condition of selfishness. Selfishness is ugly, plain and simple. So, where does the human condition of selfishness come from? The human ego (E-G-O = edging God out).

The ego holds us back in life. At times, it disguises itself as your friend and the temporary satisfaction it provides causes to you further seek to satisfy it. It can become a real beast and once you let it out of the cage and off the leash, good luck reigning it back in. But it can be done. You can - and should - seperate yourself from your ego.

You see, in order to evolve and attain enlightenment, you need to realize that your Ego is seperate from your human side. There's a duality in life, a paradox. Ego is like a split personality that lives within you - and your goal in life should be to successfully seperate yourself from it. Ego is what produces selfishness and drives selfish behaviors. Selfish behaviors are a humans attempt to satiate the ego, to satisfy it.

And that, my friends, is where society and humans run into trouble. We are all so blindly following these days, like cattle being led to the slaughter, that we totally buy into the ego. And once you've bought into your ego, others and society around you will always joyfully encourage you to feed it.

That's why they call us "consumers" folks. We are constantly feeding on others and our environment like a cancer on this earth, gobbling it up and destroying it. Yummy, yummy, yummy. It's a varitable feeding frenzy out there, isn't it? "Oh, this makes me feel good, I only need one but I'll take 10." Or, "I know I owe you money, but I really wanted this new X Box instead." Or, "I'm sorry I was ignorant, but hey, I'm enjoying myself and doing what I want to do."

And those around you are encouraging it, "Yes, that's lovely, why not get 12 instead of 10!" Or, "Hey, you can pay them next week." And, "You have to think of yourself." What they should be saying is, "You have to think FOR yourself." It's easy to say, "Hey, it makes ME feel good. Besides, others are encouraging MY behavior, telling ME to think about ME, and supporting ME in my actions . . . so I'm living for ME, right?"

But, are you really? Ask yourself, "Whose vision of happiness am I actually living?" First, consider the company you keep. Are those around you selfish in nature? Does their behavior, at times, turn you off? Do their self-centered, immature actions or mind sets cause their loved ones to suffer? How do they love their children, grandchildren, spouses and friends? Would you want to emulate them? Stop and take a moment to reflect.

I'm not saying that those around you are bad people, I'm sure they're well meaning. But what YOU need to consider is this. . . are they a follower or a leader? Do they follow the stampeding cattle right over the edge of the mountain cliff? Or do they stand out, maybe even as an oddball of sorts, from the crowd and march to the beat of their own drum?

Because if you're going to follow someone. . . follow their advice and encouragement. . . you'd better make sure you know where the hell your following them too.

Where is their encouragement and advice going to lead you to? Is it going to be to a place that YOU'RE happy with? And where is their encouragement and advice coming from? A place of well-being - or from a cynical place of past experiences? Because the vast majority of people these days, in my eyes at least, are part of the herd heading for the edge of the cliff. You're much better off if you're the slow poke that lags behind and doesn't get it - and maybe even causes trouble every once in a while by ruffling a few feathers and questioning things.

I have found that throughout my life, I have been drawn to eccentricities and eccentric people. Why? All I can say is that I can truly appreciate their "spirit." A free spirit that flys and floats at will - following no one and nothing but their own heart, mind and imagination. I'm generally not drawn to those in vain pursuit of selfish satisfactions. When going through a period in life like that, trapped and earth bound, your light is dimmed. What you generate and emulate - is what you attract back to yourself. Careful, you are always creating your karma.

We've all been there. We've all had to question our lives at some point and ask ourselves, "What am I here for? What would truly make me happy?" If you think on that, you soon come to realize that selfish behaviors and the vain pursuit of constant fulfillment of them - only takes you on a tireless, meaningless course through life making very little progress. It's like meandering along the ocean shore without ever diving into the ocean. Selfishness will never bring you true happiness and will only keep you unfulfilled and earth bound.

When you're selfish, you're pissing around. When your free, you fly.

Are you flying? Or are you pissing around?

As an interesting side note, I'd like to share a personal experience with all of you that I had while creating this list. My original goal was to provide 100 spiritual quotes in the hopes that after reading, one might feel an "inspirational moment" of sorts - enlightenment. Basically, I wanted to uplift you. So, after researching for many hours and over the course of several days, I decided to stop and take a count to see if I had reached my goal yet.

I had arrived at 111 quotes total. Fleetingly, I considered cutting them down to 100. But then something "sparked" in my minds eye and I decided to research further first. The fact that I had a mental "spark" when first hearing that number resonated with me and I felt it necessary to pursue because I'm always attempting to be "aware."

A quick search of the Internet gave way to quite a surprise and I must admit I was a bit taken aback at what I discovered. Here is the symbolism surrounding the number 111:

The number 111 is symbolic of the Trinity of God, One and Three times Saint. It represents the God-Father in the Holy Trinity and it also symbolizes sky.

As if that wasn't enough, further research yielded the information below. (The mention of a "flash bulb" was rather spooky for me considering I described my experience as a "spark". . . additionally, I made a comment yesterday on "Law of Attraction: Vision Boards" that there was a manifestation of sorts from my efforts recently. Read on and you'll understand this . . .):

111 ~ This sequence is a sign that there is a gate of opportunity opening up, and your thoughts are manifesting into form at record speeds. The 111 is like the bright light of a flash bulb. It means the universe has just taken a snapshot of your thoughts and is manifesting them into form.

111 ~ This sign is used to indicate that your thoughts are related to the start of a new cycle in your life. What you are thinking about doing or changing is correct for the new phase of your life.

111 ~ Signifies taking the lead in creative expression, and it also has connotations of social leadership in the sense of directing the energies of groups of people who resonate well with each other.

Feeling inspired yet? I swear I'm lighter on my feet . . .

The Law of Attraction: Vision Boards

Many of you are, most likely, already familiar with the Law of Attraction. For those of you who may not be, here's a brief explanation of the Law of Attraction.

One of the many useful tools to help enable you to enact the Law of Attraction is a vision board. A vision board can help you drill down to your ultimate needs, goals and wants in life. But there are a few things to remember when activating the Law of Attraction. You need to be asking "spirit" for unselfish things in an unselfish manner in order for it to really work. Simply asking for "things" won't cut it. Additionally you must always remember that the Law of Attraction is ALWAYS working for you, whether you realize this or not. So if you carry daily thoughts of worry, fear or anxiety . . . by the laws of nature and the universal Law of Attraction - the universe must give that back to you.

You see, you are like a radio transmitter. The thoughts that you carry subliminally throughout your day are constantly being broadcast to the universe. If you are at work sitting at your desk attempting to focus on your daily routine, but in your mind you're thinking, "I have so much debt. How will I get rid of all my debt?" Then "debt" is what is being transmitted to the universe. The Law of Attraction must balance this out by giving you exactly what you're asking for . . . debt, debt, debt. Or, if you're embroiled in constant negativity or in a toxic relationship and your daily thoughts are that of anger, fear and negativity. The universe and the Law of Attraction will balance this by giving you what you're requesting from it. . . more anger, fear and negativity.

You must be very, very careful to monitor and control the daily thoughts rolling around in your head. You must make a conscious effort to make them positive and not negative.

Many say, "This is all crap and it sounds crazy." Well, truth is sometimes stranger than fiction and let's face it. . . we're simply a monkey with a brain. We cannot even begin to USE our entire brain let alone EXPLAIN AWAY all of the mysteries of our universe. So before you're quick to judge, think about this for a moment. The study of Quantum Physics has recently discovered that it is utterly impossible to pinpoint the location of a sub atomic atom. Now, mind you, we're all made up of sub-atomic atoms, folks.

As it turns out, sub-atomic particles are able to be in more than one place at one time. They bounce in and out of form chaotically. Scientists have also discovered, after watching quantum particles under a microscope, that they do not "react" or kick into gear until "intention" is placed upon them by the viewer. When "intention" is sent towards sub-atomic particles - they begin to manifest into the intention placed upon them. Here's a bit from "Understanding Quantum Physics and the Law of Attraction:"

"After a few double blind slit tests using sub-atomic particles as subjects, scientists soon discovered that they could change from particles to wave form - then back again. These particles could leave our dimension - then pop right back into it again. Scientists discovered that these sub-atomic particles were changing from particles to wave form, depending on the intention of the scientists. They also discovered that they could not remove themselves from the equation while testing the particles. The scientists directly influenced the particles - by thinking about the outcome. Scientifically, there is a lot more to this."

Again, I will say that life is truly amazing, is it not? We are all made of sub-atomic particles, folks. And sub-atomic particles do react to our "intention" being placed upon them.

Psalms 82:6: "I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High."

Brings to mind another phrase, "We are not human beings having a spiritual experience - we are spiritual beings having a human experience." God, Buddha, Allah . . . whatever you prefer to call the Creator (the spirit), it's all the same. We're all hailing to the Creator and the Creator has given us the power to manifest our realities as we see fit. It's a gift and it's a test all the same. We hold the key to our own happiness but our ignorance blinds us to it.

We have the power . . . now what will we do with it? Will mankind fail the Creator?

Here's another interesting understanding of it from SelfGrowth:

"The Law of Attraction states that we attract into our lives anything that we give attention to, regardless whether it be positive or negative. From a psychological view, the Law of Attraction can be best explained by the information filtering system of the brain known as the reticular activating system (RAS).

Vision boards serve the role of programming the RAS to tune into external stimuli that can help us move closer towards our intentions. At the base of the human brain stem, in between the medulla oblongata and the mesencephalon, there is a small finger-sized control center called the reticular activating system (RAS) that sorts and evaluates incoming data. Your RAS is responsible for filtering all the incoming information that your brain receives and it also acts as receiver for information that is tagged as important.

A simple way to conceptualize the RAS is to think of it like a radio. You are surrounded by radio waves from various stations and your portable radio can pick up those channels, but only one at a time. You have to tune your radio to a specific frequency of your favorite radio station in order to receive it properly. Your RAS is not much different in this regard. Imagine you are in a meeting room talking to several people and out in the distant corner of the room you hear your name. All your focus gets diverted in the direction that you heard your name because that bit of information is tagged by the RAS as important to you. Your RAS is responsible for having the ability to sleep through the noise of traffic outside your room, but waking up suddenly at the smallest cry from your infant child. Another example of the RAS at work is when you go and buy a brand new car and then suddenly you notice many more people around your city have that exact same car.

According to Hans Morvec, the principal research scientist at the Robotics Institute of Carnegie Mellon University, the human brain can handle up to 100 trillion bits of information at any given time. With all that information coming in, how does your RAS know what to filter? Your RAS is naturally programmed to prioritize information that is necessary for survival, like listening for a the particular sound of an oncoming vehicle when walking close to a street. The RAS can’t distinguish between a real event and a contrived reality, however, and we can exploit this weakness to program it to seek out stimuli in our environment that resonate with our goals.

The process of creating a vision board is one of the best ways to program the RAS. It programs the RAS to pay attention to certain things in your environment that are in frequency with your goal or vision, in much the same way as you are able to pick up your name being mentioned in a conversation on the other side of a room while talking to others. This selective attention filter makes you aware of daily things that can help you achieve your goal and it’s your job to take action on those opportunities when they present themselves."

Rejection and the Human Spirit

Have you ever noticed . . . nothing, I repeat nothing, can kill the human spirit faster than rejection. I notice it all around me. Not with me, personally. I'm speaking of rejection in very broad terms here. Rejection in general. Rejection from classmates, rejection by family, rejection from neighbors, rejection from school, rejection from groups, rejection from relationships (both of love and/or friendship), rejection from society, rejection from assistance, rejection from employees, rejection from employers, rejection from creditors, rejection from potential mates . . .

My Lord, look at all the rejection we live with, and tolerate, these days. It swirls around us like a negative, foggy haze. Many of us act as if we are immune to it, but are we really? I don't think so.

You see, the devastating effects of rejection . . . the affects of negativity, are far reaching. Rejection reaches deep into the human psyche and its affect reveals itself in strange, often odd ways. The human mind, the human spirit is a fragile one. Rejection can damage people to such extents mentally that, often times, the physical manifestation of it can lead to personal illness - both physical and mental. We truly are a fragile species and rejection does damage on many levels.

Let's look at what rejection creates or "manifests:"

- It creates the cycle of blame
- It creates the cycle of self destructive punishment
- It creates a sense of isolation
- It creates anger
- It creates negativity

Now let's look at what rejection destroys:

- It destroys confidence
- It destroys morale
- It destroys self-esteem
- It destroys your human spirit
- It destroys your soul on a deep psychological level

Rejection = destruction of the human spirit + manifestation of anger and negativity.

If we live in a reality that is constantly "manifesting" itself based on our inner thoughts, visions, desires and intentions . . . and are surrounded and saturated by constant negativity - then that means we are living in a current reality manifested by the effects of rejection.

We are living in a reality that is the manifestation of rejection - the destruction of the human spirit and the creation of anger.

As humans, our species is a social one. The popularity of new social media technologies over the last few years is and example of just how social a species mankind really is. But have we forgotten that, folks? It's ironic to me that such a primally social species "rejects" one another so very often in everyday life.

Where's the love and acceptance? Where's the gratitude?

Love, acceptance and gratitude promote "growth." The manifestation of the positive energy promotes growth on many levels:

- spiritual growth
- mental growth
- evolutionary growth of soul and spirit
- growth of compassion
- growth of positive decision making

And if the power of positive energy can have such wondrous effects on mankind and our surroundings (because we are always "manifesting" our thoughts, wishes and desires daily) . . . then what kind of effect do you think negativity has on mankind and our civilization?

Negativity hinders growth, and what little growth that comes out of it, only promotes total destruction in the end. The things that rejection and negativity manifest are destructive by nature in and of themselves.

Negative energy hinders:

- spiritual growth
- mental growth
- the evolutionary growth of mankind
- decision making
- compassion

And in a civilization where mankind has taken to rejecting one another so often, the "manifestations" of that society as a whole - are hindered. Negativity doesn't promote growth and rejection is negativity.

Is this really what we want for our society? For our civilization and our species? For our children and our futures? I think NOT. I don't want to live within a reality that was built upon and/or hindered by the destructive forces and manifestations of negativity.

These days, everyone's running around seeking out their own personal happiness. And many times, at great expense to themselves, personally. Selfishness can bring about "loss" and there are a lot of selfish individuals out there these days. And amazingly enough - no matter how high and low you search, no matter what you've given up or to what extent you suffered loss over it -no one seems to be able to find this elusive thing called "happiness." I think I know why.

I believe the reason everyone is still "seeking" as opposed to "finding" true happiness is because they are blind as to what truly makes the human spirit happy, fulfilled and content.

It's love, folks. Love, acceptance and compassion. It's so simple of an answer to such a big question, that it's all to easily overlooked these days. I challenge you all. I challenge each and everyone of you who read this to test yourselves.

Test your human spirit to find out what makes you feel truly your happiest:

First) Indulge YOURSELF. Go to the store. Buy something special for yourself. Or do something special for yourself. Something that you think will bring you happiness or something that you've been waiting for. Or go about the game of manipulation somehow. Take advantage of someone, cheat someone or fudge a tale or inflate a story to cover your own ass or make yourself look better in someone elses eyes. Indulge in drug use or alcoholism (and please realize I'm being sarcastic here, folks). Do "whatever it takes" - this is where you get to be selfish and self indulgent. (This is what most people think brings true happiness.)

After you have done something to indulge yourself: take note as to how you felt, and for how long you felt that way.

Next) Do something for OTHERS. Help your elderly neighbor. Repair something for them, pull their weeds or cut their grass. Or surprise someone you love or admire with an unexpected gift. Maybe feed someone who has gone hungry or donate your time to foster children who have been abandoned. Take in an animal that has been abandoned and rejected. Give your spouse or your children that loving pet they've always wanted but you would never allow them to get because of your own unwillingness to take on additional responsibilities. Finally stop fighting with someone over something trivial. Apologize to someone and make amends. Be "secret santa" for the day and help a needy individual by giving them $4o out of your pocket for no real reason other than - you wanted to.

After you have done something for others: take note as to how you felt, and for how long you felt that way.

Lastly) Compare notes. If you do this, I am almost certain that you will have found the experience and meaning of true happiness. And for the first time, you will know, and now come to the epiphany of "realizing" what that feels like. You will have achieved a state of "Awareness" - a measure of personal, spiritual and evolutionary growth.

And in your enlightened state, please do come back here and share your experience with all of us in the comments field below. Let's spread positive growth, stories of happiness and gratitude - and begin to manifest a new reality for our civilization through example.

The Journey Of The Soul

The soul. Does it exist? If so, what is it? What is its purpose? What is OUR purpose for that matter? And why are we here?

At some point in your life, you ponder these questions - even if only briefly. And if you're a seeker of knowledge, you continue on and begin asking, "If there is a soul, where does it come from? Where does it go?" And the flood gates are opened . . .

I came across an interesting piece of writing on the topic recently that was titled, "An Idea Concerning the Soul and Ascension" in which Philip writes:

"Like billions of other human beings on this planet have since the time of man began, I have spent countless hours pondering over and searching for the "truth" of existence. Exactly what is the truth? Since I do believe in a 'higher being" I have dabbled in a variety of mainstream religions over my time, and studied many more. The main thing I have come away with is that each one is certain that it has the right idea, and every other religion is totally wrong. How can there possibly be so many divergent religions and all of them be "right"? Why all these differing ideas on the concept of heaven and hell? How does that all fit into the "out of the mainstream" ideas like ghosts, witchcraft, parallel universes, extraterrestrials, reincarnation, past lives, astral travel, superhuman powers, and the sense of Déjà vu?

Perhaps all we really have to do is take a step back and look at a bigger picture. Maybe there is a grain of truth in all these things.

Have you ever experienced a nagging conscious or had a hunch pay off? Intuitively knowing what to do or where to go? Have you sensed you were being watched or interacted with? Have you ever felt like you were outside your body watching it as it went through it's motions or had moments when an inner voice told you to do things you would probably not otherwise thought of doing? What exactly is that?"

The writer, Philip, provides a very practical down-to-earth explanation. To me, it seems logical and makes plenty of sense if you're open minded enough to think on it for a moment.

I would advise readers to do so. Read Philips full interpretation and thoughts on the matter and then ponder them - even if only for a moment.

Feel The Power Of Intention: Emit Change

The power of "intention" can be a powerful tool in ones pursuit of a happy life and or goals. It has been my observation during my life that few know how to use it. Thinking or longing for an individuals wants or changes does not give intention any power.

Why this is so? The answer I fear may be too complicated to enter into verbiage but I will give it a shot.

First, many get hung up on detail. In my mind, detail can be ones own nemesis. In our quest for detail, we lose the tool of emission. (Keep in mind - like attracts like.) My feeling is that detail is a left brain function and when dealing with energies, details absorb the energy that you need to emit intention to the universe.

We must FEEL what we want in order to EMIT change. Have you ever given thought to the understanding that thinking and feeling are separate and yet combined? Thinking and pondering emits erratic energies to the universe and the universe does not know how to act on your behalf - so it just shuffles the deck and deals.

Keep in mind that just maybe the universe would act on the most powerful thought. Perhaps I should try and clarify a little. When analyzing you are asking your self questions such as, "How would I feel if . . ?" or "How would I react if . . .?" In other words, "what if" type of thinking. Stimulating your thoughts expands your feelings and, therefore, expands your energy emission. Because like attracts like.

So be careful of your thoughts. Surely you've heard that old saying, "Careful what you wish for." This does not mean we should never think, although I know many who would appear to fall into that category.

When one chooses to ponder, would it not make sense to inform the universe that you are contemplating and please do not act at this time thank you. If you have ever felt a persons energy (aura) when angry or happy you will find there is a difference in the way you feel around their presence. It soon becomes apparent that thoughts and feelings really do EMIT.

What does this all mean and what is the bottom line? Well, if I want change for example I must BECOME that very change I desire - thus attracting like. In this equation, a positive feeling attracts like as does a negative thought attracts like. I must add when asking the universe we need to ask for the highest and best for all concerned and the harm of none also equal to or better.

With the experiments I have performed with dowsing rods and pendulums, thinking positive thought emits a greater energy than negative. It takes less energy to think positive and progressive than to think negative and judgmental. Even though these thoughts seem easier - they only rob or drain.

Intention for improvement or anything else must have ENERGY behind it for it to happen. So FEEL your thoughts. Being literal in your intention WILL produce for you. You do not have to be engaged 24/7. Just put a little FEELING in passing thought and then be patient.

My intention has rarely been for great wealth but more so for the opportunity to serve humanity. Not for glory or ego but for love and compassion given to me by a higher power. In my intention I have become aware that I have never wanted for much. With my intention to serve the universe it has served me well to which I have much gratitude.

I've included a mathematical equation to give a value for you to contemplate:
33 ½ Feeling, 33 ½ Attitude, 33 ½ Thought.

33 ½ + 33 ½ +33 ½ = 100% Intention

If Everyone Cared . . .

It has occurred to me recently, after experiencing yet another hellish week in my personal life, that people generally just do not treat one another with kindness and love. Selfishness seems to be the overwhelming "vibe" of our culture today - and other more vulnerable types pay the price for that line of thought.

I believe that we all have a purpose here on earth. The goal that mankind is to achieve in this life is a simple one - learn to love one another and help your fellow man. Simple, right? Not so. Often, it takes a terribly horrific situation to bring this very primal, yet simple realization to the surface in people. It's quite sad that it has to come to situations like that to see the good in mankind.

There are so many toxic personality types out there today. At times, it feels as if the earth is littered with rotten apples. When meeting others, you have to ask, "Does this person have values? Do they experience emotion? Do they have morals? Do they posses the ability to think of others besides themselves? Are they a giver or a taker? Are they of their word? Do they have a sense of spirituality or a set of personal beliefs? Do they partake in religion and believe in God?

Do they believe in Karma - and accept that every action brings about a reaction - and that for many actions, there are consequences? Do they love their families? Do they posses communication skills? What are thier insecurities and how do they deal with them? How do they express themselves? Are they constantly trying to prove something to themselves and others? How far will they go to do that? Do they enjoy taking risks? Do they find being secretive exhiliarating? What form of love are they capable of? Do they treat others as they themselves would like to be treated? Are they capable of apologies? What have their past actions been towards others? How have they loved themselves? How have they hurt others? How do they treat their parents? Do they love their children? Are they capable of deceit? Do they have a conscience? Do they experience guilt? Are they a comfortable liar? Do they love themselves or punish themselves without knowledge? Have they ever been a victim of someone else's crime?

Have they ever been hurt? Will they hurt YOU?"

When determining someone's soul value as a human being ask yourself, "Are they an evolved soul that has grasped this primal understanding of love - or are they an unevolved, immature selfish soul?"

Then ask yourself, "What kind of soul do you posses?" Because birds of a feather should always flock together.

It brings to mind a song titled "If Everyone Cared." Have a listen. There's a message in here for us all.

"Never doubt that a small group of committed people can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has." - Margaret Mead

Do We Really Feel Fine?

I came across this really interesting site today called We Feel Fine. Their mission is an exploration of human emotion on a global scale. The site is actually facinating. Here's an excerpt of what it is that the site does:

"We Feel Fine has been harvesting human feelings from a large number of weblogs. Every few minutes, the system searches the world's newly posted blog entries for occurrences of the phrases "I feel" and "I am feeling".

When it finds such a phrase, it records the full sentence, up to the period, and identifies the "feeling" expressed in that sentence (e.g. sad, happy, depressed, etc.). Because blogs are structured in largely standard ways, the age, gender, and geographical location of the author can often be extracted and saved along with the sentence, as can the local weather conditions at the time the sentence was written. All of this information is saved.

The result is a database of several million human feelings, increasing by 15,000 - 20,000 new feelings per day."

The system then creates bouncing "particles" to represent each feeling collected. These particles bounce around randomly on the screen and each color represents the feeling behind the emotion that was retrieved. Once you click on a bouncing particle, the emotion and text that was written is displayed.

You can display these emotions in several different formats which are listed along the left side of the bouncing particle screen. I decided to play around a bit and see what others are feeling out there. When I requested a display in the metrics mode, feeling overwhelmed was the number one emotion and it was being felt at 5 times the normal level. Hmmmm. . . .

In the mounds mode, it displays that the bulk of people at the moment are feeling better, but right on it's tails are thousands of people who are feeling bad and lot's of people are feeling sorry.

What does all of this say about the state of fragile human emotions? Seems that many of us carry negative feelings throughout our daily lives.

I'd like to hear from you. What do you do to alleviate yourself of negative thoughts or regretful feelings? And what do you think about humanities current state of emotion?

The Body Mind Connection: Neuropeptides

In the last few years we've seen some extraordinary research in this field coming out of prestigious universities and medical schools and places like the National Institute of Health. About 20 years ago it was discovered, for example, that our thoughts and our feelings have physical substrate to them.

When you think a thought you make a molecule. To think is to practice brain chemistry. And in fact these thoughts are translated into very precise molecules known as neuropeptides. '"Neuro"' because they were first found in the brain. And 'peptides' because they're protein-like molecules. And thoughts, feelings, emotions and desires translate into the flux of neuropeptides in the brain.

You can think of these neuro-peptides like little keys that fit into very precise locks called receptors on the cell walls or other neurons. So the way this part of the brain speaks to another part of the brain is not necessarily in English with an Indian accent, but in the precise language of these neuropeptides.

What was found subsequently, which was absolutely fascinating was that there were receptors to neuropeptides not only in brain cells but other parts of the body. So when scientists started looking for receptors to neuropeptides in cells of the immune system, for example: T cells, B cells, monocytes and macrophages - when they started looking at them, they found that on the cell walls of all these there were receptors for the same neuropeptides which are the molecular substrate of thought.

So your immune cells are in fact constantly eavesdropping on your internal dialogue. Nothing that you say to yourself, which you're doing all the time, even in sleep, escapes the attention of the immune cells. Not only that, the immune cells, it was subsequently discovered, can make the same peptides that the brain makes when it thinks.

Now here we come to a startling finding, because if the immune cell is making the same chemicals that the brain is making when it thinks, then the immune cell is a thinking cell. It's a conscious little being.

In fact, the more you look at it, the more you find that it behaves just like a neuron. It makes the same chemical cords that the brain uses for emotion, thought, feeling and desire. An immune cell has emotions. It has desires. It has an intellect. It knows how to discriminate and remember.

It has to decide when it sees a carcinogen, "Is this a carcinogen? Should I go after it? Should I leave it alone? Is this a friendly bacteria? Should I go after it or leave it alone?" It has to remember the last time it encountered something. In fact it remembers the last time somebody else encountered the same thing.

Your immune cells can immediately recognize anything that has ever been encountered by any living species. If you are exposed to pneumococus for the first time in your life, your immune cells still remember the last time somebody somewhere in prehistoric time encountered a pneumococus and knows how to make the precise antibody to it.

It's not only a thinking cell but it remembers way back into the evolutionary history of not only the human species but other species as well. So you ask a good neurologist the difference between an immune cell and a neuron and they'll say there isn't any. The immune cell is a circulating nervous system.

Now if that wasn't enough of a startling discovery, the subsequent discoveries in science have been even more interesting, because when scientists started looking elsewhere in the body they found the same phenomenon. When they looked at stomach cells and intestinal cells they found the same peptides. The stomach cells make the same chemical cords that the brain makes when it thinks. Of course they're not verbally as elite as the brain, in that they don't think in English or Swahili, but nevertheless, they are thinking cells.

When you say, "I have a gut feeling about such and such," you're not speaking metaphorically anymore. You're speaking quite literally because you're gut makes the same chemicals as the brain makes when it thinks. In fact your gut feelings may be a little more accurate because gut cells haven't yet evolved to the stage of self doubt.

What science is discovering is that we have a thinking body. Every cell in our body thinks. Every cell in our body is actually a mind. Every cell has its own desires and it communicates with every other cell. The new word is not mind and body connection, we have a body-mind simultaneously everywhere.
