The Secret of Ancient Wisdom and Quantum Mechanics

“Humanities future lies in harnessing the energies that lie hidden in the spaces between the particles, atoms, molecules, planets, stars, and galaxies of the physical universe.” ~ Dr William Tiller

Many of you have heard about the Law of Attraction, a universal law that states “like attracts like.” This is a concept that mystics and spiritualists have been teaching for eons. Many deny its existence; however, the study of quantum mechanics has actually found scientific proof of its existence. Quantum physics is the study of sub-atomic particles; particles that we, as human beings, are essentially made of. The formal definition of the study of quantum physics is, “a branch of physics dealing with physical phenomena at microscopic scales. . . quantum mechanics provides a mathematical description of much of the dual particle-like and wave-like behaviour and interactions of energy and matter.”

When you think, you actually produce a measurable form of energy called a neuropeptide. The formal definition of a neuropeptide is, “small protein-like molecules (peptides) used by neurons to communicate with each other. They are neuronal signalling molecules that influence the activity of the brain in specific ways.” So when you think, you produce a measurable form of energy that is then emitted, much like a radio wave, out into your immediate surroundings – and out into the universe.

This is the basic basis for the Law of Attraction. As Henry Ford once said, ““Whether you think you can, or you think you can't--you're right.” And spiritualists and mystics have always taught the theory, “If you think it, you can be it.”

And now, the study of quantum physics is finding proof that supports what the ancient mystics and modern day spiritualists have always taught.

The Vacuum That Isn’t A Vacuum

Now we all know what a vacuum is - it’s an empty space full of a lot of, nothing.

Or, is it?

No, in fact, as has been shown in quantum mechanics, to have a vacuum is impossible. In quantum mechanics, a vacuum would represent a complete absence of any particle matter, but in reality this cannot be the case. Even in the extremes of space, we only have a model of the “perfect vacuum.” In reality, no matter how close to that model we get, we still have a space filled with an extremely low concentration of hydrogen atoms and background radiation at the very least.

But is that all it is? Is the space between the very building blocks of the universe just an empty void?

Since the time of Plato, it has been known to ancient mystics that there can be no complete “void.” In the 6th century BC, it was central to many ancient “atomist” philosophies that although there may be some level of empty space between atoms - this space would eventually be filled with “continuum.” What we now know to be a form of very dense “energy potential.”

Let us be clear that this vacuum is simply empty of “physical matter.” It is this that is central to the idea of “free energy.” Science was later to discover that this principle was central to the overlapping metaphysical ideas of “intention, attraction, manifestation” and other eastern mystical concepts.

Quantum Genetics And Your DNA

Over the course of past 60 years, Russian research has surpassed western DNA knowledge beyond any proposed model discovered by research from Western Europe and the U.S.A. Not only did the Russians believe the current scientific ideas of the West to be too fixed, they believed them to be wrong. While western science focused research only on 5% of the total human genome, Russian research would focus on the whole human genome in a project that would bridge the gap between ancient mystics and modern quantum physics. The quote below from a report regarding DNA cross intelligence provided the following conclusion of the significance of the research conducted:

“In truth, DNA is not just a blueprint for constructing the body; it is also a storage medium for optical information as well as an organ for communication. Scientists have been seeking the ancestral human language for centuries – we believe we have found it.”

Explanations to some of humanities most ancient beliefs were found everywhere they looked - even by accident.

In one experiment designed to test the effect of single DNA strands on particle level space, results far beyond the expected would illustrate an ancient manifesting power buried deep within us all. And for those of religious faith, consider Psalm 82: 6:

"I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High."

In one study featuring an experimental “perfect vacuum,” where our human DNA was added to measure the effect of light at a particle level, the results proved shocking. Not only did our DNA manifest light particles into synchronization, correlating with the shape of the strand itself, it produced unforeseen effects much like “mini space” in a jar.

Scientists observed tiny wormholes constantly manifesting around our DNA along with what could only termed “fluctuations of the light.” In further experiments, human DNA could be found to retain the light itself, providing a glowing vacuum creating a test tube “bulb.” Ancient beliefs of clairvoyance, healing, rapid intuition, aura energy, light manipulation even weather manipulation had now been proven possible on a quantum level. (Again, bear in mind, the quantum level refers to the level of sub-atomic particles - the very same particles of which we are all made of. So if this can happen with those particles in a lab test, one can easily deduce that it can happen within YOU.)

These tiny wormholes would later be found to be the key to unlocking our manifestation potential.

Further studies provided more detailed information than we had ever thought possible. These miniature magnetic wormholes were “two way communication links to other parts of the known universe.” Our DNA is more than the sum of us - it is a “quantum bio wave computer.” Our tiny, individual wormholes take information and pass it too our consciences - resonating it back to us at a frequency on a genetic level found to be around 150 megahertz.

This would later lead to the conclusion that our DNA was an ancient “harmonic oscillator.” Our DNA was attracting information on a quantum level and organizing it as consciousness.

Stonehenge As A Spiritual Transcendence Tool

It seems that the ancient builders of Stonehenge had knowledge of this concept of DNA as a “harmonic oscillator.” For many, it is believed that the Stonehenge structure is a large spiritual transcendence tool:

“For those of you who may not know, altered states of consciousness can be reached through beat tones and rhythmic sessions at certain frequencies. This is why monks chant, those of Jewish faith rock back and forth (davening) while praying and indigenous people incorporate drumming into their rituals. This is also why Rave participants are easily induced into trance-like states. These rhythmic actions actually produce a clinically measurable effect on the brain.

Through rhythmic sessions and beat tones or binaural beats, the brain reaches a state called "coherence." Coherence is reached when waves in phase and of one wavelength simultaneously are generated in the different parts of the brain. This synchronicity between the waves makes the brain run like an optimal brain and a deep state of altered consciousness can be achieved.”

Researchers of Stonehenge noticed that the side of the rocks facing the interior center of the circle were carved out somewhat to produce a concave "dip" in the face of the rock. Further study revealed that:

“. . . the acoustical qualities of Stonehenge are such that, when the proper rhythm is achieved through beat tones (drumming), Stonehenge actually begins to produce Alpha wave frequencies at 10 HZ to such an extent that it actually begins to ring like a glass. You know the old trick, wet your finger and run it around the lip of a crystal glass and it'll turn into a "singing bowl." Apparently, Stonehenge produces the same effect only on a much grander scale and in low Alpha wave frequencies. Frequencies necessary to achieve altered states of consciousness that allow for astral planing or astral projection (out of body experiences). Combine that with the mind altering substance of the day, Henbane, and you have yourself one hell of a party.”

Ancient Light Workers and Their “Familiars” (Cats)

Ancient “light workers” have long been held sacred, but believed by many in modern society to be another part of outdated thought from our primal past - but this was about to change.

It was later found that our very own DNA could influence ultraviolet photons in an aura directly affecting human metabolism. In extreme cases of “environmental manifestation,” accounts of black ghosts, energy fluctuations, extreme intuition and more could no longer be ignored.

To further add curiosity, science in other areas has produced evidence linking cross species manifestation and influence to our DNA. Cats have been found to emit, and also become sensitized, to human electromagnetic fields and our surrounding “fluctuations.” Not only this, but other studies that have confirmed evidence of the effects of cats on the lowering of human heart rates in the presence of them, has added value to the ancient beliefs in our favourite "familiar." The formal definition of a familiar is:

“. . .supernatural entities believed to assist witches and cunning folk in their practice of magic. . .the main purpose of familiars is to serve the witch or young witch, providing protection for him/her as they come into their new powers. . . according to the records of the time, they would appear in numerous guises, often as an animal.”

And remember, in ancient times, a witch was actually a healer – a man or woman who studied herbal medicine (much like a Shaman) – and not the demonic, evil, modern portrayal of what we commonly refer to as a witch.

Many are the recorded incidents of spontaneous, unexplainable behaviour from our feline friends, giving firm support to the supernatural power of cats put forward in ancient human history. Light workers of all periods were said to be drawn to cats and surrounded by cats as protectors, cleansers and guardians of their own “light side.” However, this still left many ancient blanks.

Genetic Empathy

In research conducted in the institute of heart math, involving the isolation of DNA and the focused power of human emotion, we find answers to some ancient riddles.

The aim of the research was to study why the heart produced a greater electromagnetic field influence than the brain, not just with us, but in our DNA. This research would look to go one step further in investigating the effects of transmission of emotional “intent” on DNA. Trained emotional subjects were each given an emotional “intent” to transmit, and the results were surprising.

In the presence of negative emotions, the isolated DNA became strangled and tight. In the presence of positive emotions, the DNA became extremely relaxed.

Confirming that an empath can not only feel your emotions, but is actually able to manifest them within themselves, on a genetic level. Further military research has since confirmed these results. Donors were tested and emotionally stimulated in order measure changes in samples of their own DNA. What they discovered was that an emotional peak in one room - lead to an emotional peak in our DNA in another room.

To test this, further research continued at a variety of distances that further confirmed these earlier findings. Modern western physics was unable to provide an explanation for how our DNA could manifest these changes at distances of over 350 miles in instant, real-time speed that was synchronised by atomic clocks. Further, they could not answer as to why there should even be any such existing connection at all.

The answer that was deduced in the conclusion of this genetic research conducted, in both the above and previously discussed area, was provided by the head the of the Russian research team at the Academy of Science in Moscow:

“After duplicating experiments many times and checking the equipment in every conceivable way, we were forced to accept the working hypothesis that some new field structures is being excited from the physical vacuum. It appears that this substructure can be excited from the physical vacuum in a range of energies close to zero energy. Our only conclusion is that the DNA itself has manifesting powers through the vacuum separate from deliberate human intention.” ~ Dr. Vladimir Poponin

The DNA Phantom Effect

This is part one of a two part series. In parting, consider that when ancient mystics and modern day spiritualists make the proclamation that God lives within each and every one of us, perhaps what they are referring to is the ability for human beings to tap into the “creative force” of the universe – to manifest heaven right here on earth:

“Thy kingdom come, thy will be done – on earth, as it is in heaven.”

None of Us Are Doing God's Will

These days, there is a lot of speculation that we are living in and experiencing what is called "end times." However, I believe that the human race has the ability to manifest our reality. And just because someone tells you these are "end times" doesn't mean that that is what they actually have to be. Because even if it starts out that way, it doesn't have to end that way. However, if you are consumed by the news and media, and swallow all that your being fed, then it's quite possible that these could be end times.

What I'm saying is, it's up to US.

I'd like to think that the human race is intelligent enough to use that which makes them different from any other living creature on this earth. . . your "free will." As humans, we are granted the will to change, become or evolve into anything that we see fit. It's a gift from the heavens. And the more that people think it, the more it will become a part of the "global consciousness."

Imagine if the earth emanated an energy. An energy that was the composition of the human race's thoughts. Right now, what do you think that energy would be? Anxiety? Fear? Hatred? Violence? Greed? I shudder to think it. It's a fact, man is the most violent creature living on this planet. And if you believe the spiritual teachings regarding the Law of Attraction and that "like energy attracts like energy" - then what do you think is in store for us here?

What you put out there - is what you get back. Karma will step in to balance things out. It's a natural law. You can't change it. You get what you give and that's that. And it's a cycle that can continue on and on, back and forth - unless it is consciously stopped.

It is extremely important in times like these to question things and to not buy into all that is being fed to you. Consciously focus your thoughts on change for the greater good. If we can all do that, then it's quite possible that we can change the energy that we are emitting as a human race and create a better world for all of us to live in.

No one questions anything anymore. Everyone is too busy burying their faces in their latest gadget, sucking in hours and hours of television, media and advertising with a feeling of detachment that provides a false security. This is a very fragile world we live in, folks. If our infrastructure were to collapse, that'd be all she wrote. And just because you live in America doesn't mean that you're immune to the disastrous happenings of the world. Stop buying everything that your being sold and begin to think for yourself. Speak up when you see a "wrong" being committed. Become comfortable in speaking against that which you do not believe. Do not fear being questioned. Do not fear being ridiculed. Do not fear those that scream louder than you and use fear tactics to control and intimidate. If something feels wrong in your gut, then say so. Listen to those gut instincts and care for your fellow man. Help rather than hinder.

And if someone wrongs you. . . become the enlightened version of man and rise above it. Teach compassion in the face of opposition and others will follow your lead.

If, as a society, we can all raise our consciousness, our energy, to this enlightened state of thought - then it just may be that life as we know it in 2012 will change for the better. But remember, the only way to initiate change - is to question daily that which you're being fed.

Watch the video below. Because we don't want to see more of this, right? Man's greed cloaked in disguise. (Images contained within this video may be disturbing.) It's up to you, folks. We CAN initiate change.

"Never doubt that a small group of committed people can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has." ~ Margaret Mead

World Leaders, Nefarious Doings, Consequence

I've said it before but I'll say it again - the Vatican is in trouble. As many of you are already aware, Jeff Anderson, a St. Paul, Minnesota lawyer who’s filed thousands of suits against the church in recent years over allegations of sexual abuse by priests and other church leaders, is leading the charge to depose Pope Benedict XVI.

The Vatican is lashing back in their defense arguing that the pope has immunity as a head of state; that American bishops who oversaw abusive priests weren’t employees of the Vatican; that a 1962 document is not the “smoking gun” that provides proof of a cover-up. Cardinal William J. Levada, the prefect of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, criticized an article in The New York Times that raised questions about why the Vatican had not defrocked the priest, Father Lawrence C. Murphy. Father Lawrence C. Murphy was accused of molesting as many as 200 boys at a Wisconsin school for the deaf between 1950 to 1974. Court documents that just recently came to the light of day last week detailed the role of the Congregation in ceasing the proceedings of a canonical trial in the matter.

"These documents confirm that the CDF, under Pope Benedict XVI's lead, discouraged prosecution of accused clergy and encouraged secrecy to protect the reputation of the church," said McMurry.

Additionally, when the pope was archbishop of Munich, he approved the transfer of a sexually abusive priest to therapy. The abusive priest then carried on to sexually molest other boys in a different parish. A case was filed was filed in 2004 in Kentucky by three men claiming they were victims of sexual abuse by priests and suffered negligence by the Vatican.

The Vatican may end up skirting any legal responsibilities here but that brings to light a bigger question - Have they no moral responsibility?

I've said this before, but I'm saying it again. Anything organized soon becomes corrupt. Why? Because "man" is involved. It's a sad fact, but the mission of many "organizations" soon becomes lost and replaced by the organizations will to survive. In other words, the organizations will to survive far outweighs it's original mission. That's what I see here. An organization that has been corrupted by man and is focusing on survival. . .rather than it's original mission - mankind.

Having said that, let's peel away some layers here and look at some of the bigger aspects. Let's glance into "the mirror," jump down into the rabbit hole, and take a look at the bigger picture here from a bit of a different perspective. Previously, I wrote a piece titled, "2010 Horoscope: Great Revelations." In this piece, I touched on some of the things that we can expect to see in the year 2010 based on prophecies and on the web bot technology. Here's what was predicted:

"2010 is the year that conspiracy theorists will get to say "I told you so!" Predictions across the board state that matters that have been hidden, secret or brushed under the carpet by world and religious leaders will reveal themselves to the light of day. Things along the lines of aliens or alien technology revealed, religious secrets kept by the Vatican revealed (for those interested, the Vatican just announced last year after secret United Nations meetings, that the possibility of alien life exists), and military secrets kept by our government could be a few of those themes.

In line with that, are the web bot project predictions. The last web bot ALTA report that runs into the summer of 2010 predicted things along these lines:

- A collapse of "The Powers That Be" through discovery of their nefarious doings (keywords: revolution, riots, mobsters, devaluation of the dollar, Vatican involvement, secrets revealed, refugees)

- "The Powers That Be" suffer secrets revealed by rioting mobsters which leads to participation in the "alien wars" theme that keeps repeating itself within the ALTAs (late 2010, early 2011)

- Breakdowns in infrastructure (food destruction, food hoarding, climate collapse, Vatican looting, hyperinflation, breakdown fuels, food deliveries, health care system, public meetings)

It's difficult, after reading the predictions above made in January 2010, to take a look at the current state of affairs concerning the Vatican - and not pay heed to the prophecies. People can mimic, poke fun and minimize astrology, the beliefs of ancient cultures, and prophecy. That's easy to do and it's a bandwagon that many narrow minded individuals jump onto. But these ancient cultures, such as the Maya, and the seers and seekers of days-gone-by realized that time - history - cycles itself. There are specific energy cycles that create patterns in history. When you find the patterns and associate the appropriate energy to the cycle, it becomes easy to predict the future. After further study, it even starts to make sense. It starts to become logical.

For those of you who do not believe that the energy of the planets and celestial bodies do not have an affect on the earth or its inhabitants . . . I simply ask you to take a look at Mother Moon. She controls the tides here on earth as well as the reproductive cycle of it's female inhabitants - the 28 day cycle. There's no denying the tides, there's no denying the energetic push and pull. It simply IS. The fact that many of us might not be able to wrap our minds around that concept really doesn't matter. Because it simply IS. And apparently, the complete knowledge of the mysteries of our universe - are not ours to know. Besides, with the current state humanity is in, I doubt we'd handle that knowledge responsibly. Someone, most likely a world leader, would figure out a way to exploit it for nefarious purposes. So in my opinion, mankind is better off remaining blissfully ignorant.

But it seems that there is some credence to prophecy, conspiracy theorists may just get to say "I told you so" after all, the nefarious doings of religious leaders are coming to light and consequence is beating down the door. It seems there's only one question left:

Will there be a break down in infrastructure and a subsequent revolution?

I will end this piece as I've ended others before . . . just some food for thought, folks. Will you swallow it, or will you choke on it?

P.S. I told you so . . .

Quantum Physics: The Realm of Possibilities

I'm sure you've thought to yourself, "Why am I here and what is my purpose?" It's a question that we've all pondered at one point or another in our lives and no one really seems to have the answer. And maybe that's because . . . the possibilities are endless. Simply thinking about your purpose may ultimately help you to not only conceive it, but to manifest it once you have.

There's a theory in the realm of quantum physics that is called "downward causation." One of the pioneers of this scientific theory is Dr. Amit Goswami, Professor of physics at the Institute of Theoretical Sciences at the University of Oregon. Dr. Goswami asked himself, "What converts possibility into actuality?" After pondering and researching for many years, Dr. Goswami concluded that consciousness is the ground of all creation and existence. In other words, our universe is "self-aware" - and consciousness manifests our physical reality. The new paradigm is called "monistic idealism" and with it, the paradoxes of quantum physics, free will, choice, unconsciousness, creativity and spiritual growth are all explainable.

So let's take a look at downward causation, otherwise known as the neurology of "free will." Free will is the given ability to manifest our will, our intention, into being - into "actuality."

Psalm 82: 6 says, "I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High."

Humans are made of subatomic particles and in quantum physics, scientists have surprisingly discovered that subatomic particles behave erratically. They bounce and shift without pattern - as if they are awaiting an intention to instruct them to become a manifestation. And sure enough, that's what scientists have discovered. They have discovered that when viewing subatomic particles, it is utterly impossible to pinpoint the location of a sub atomic atom. As it turns out, subatomic particles are able to be in more than one place at one time. They do not exist in our universe alone but rather it seems that they flutter in and out of an infinite number of parallel universes. Subatomic particles await instruction.

Subatomic particles wait for "intention" to be placed upon them before manifesting into actuality.

Scientists have found that, after a few double blind slit tests using sub-atomic particles as subjects, it was discovered they could change from particles to wave form then back again. These particles could leave our dimension then pop right back into it again. Scientists also found that these sub-atomic particles were changing from particles to wave form, depending on the intention of the scientists placed upon it. Even more surprising, they discovered that they could not remove themselves from the equation while testing the particles. The scientists themselves, through observation, influenced the particles. By placing their "intention" upon them, they had a direct effect on the end result.

In other words, it was the "intention" or observation of the scientists that directly influenced the outcome:

The state of possibilities are endless for quantum particles - until we "observe" or "intend" that they are only in one specific state.

Your intention (observation, consciousness) directly chooses the outcome for subatomic particles to manifest into.

Now mind you, folks, we are all made of subatomic particles so this applies to us as human beings. This is what spiritualists have been teaching for years and it also lends credence to the theory of the Law of Attraction. The theory that the universe has a check and balance system, yin and yang or karma, if you like, and that like attracts like.

If you think it, you can be it.

Your intention (thought) has a direct influence over your life because you are in constant control of the subatomic particles and you decide what they manifest into. This falls in line with Dr. Goswami's studies and determination of downward causation.

Downward causation is when the direction of casual "influence" extends from "higher" levels of reality down to "lower" levels of reality.

The brain controls its atoms and molecules, rather than the atoms and molecules controlling the brain. Downward causation is thus also called "macrocausation", because if it exists, then macroscopic entities have causal powers over the atoms they are made of.  Basically, what this means is that matter is manifested through a higher level - thought and intention.

We create matter. Matter does not create us.

It's a "top-down" theory, not a "bottom-up" one. There is an online version of a book titled, "Downward Causation and the Neurobiology of Free Will." Each chapter summary is free to preview and explore for thought provocation. You can also purchase entire chapters in PDF form if you choose. So you see, your life is what you make it. Your quality of life is what you make it. It is so very important to keep your thoughts clear and your intention pure. Because what you think of, is what you will manifest into being.

Where you are and what you are experiencing today, is the direct result of your previous thoughts and intentions. Whether you realize it or not.

If you sit around all day long thinking, "Oh my, I have so much debt." Then "debt" is what you are ordering the universe to manifest for you. You are subconsciously ordering your subatomic particles to manifest into debt for you. Your perspective and your subconscious daily thoughts directly influence your life and your existence. Your subconscious thoughts count the most, so learn to consciously control them.

The sooner you realize this and accept it, the better your life can become. So, if you're pondering what your purpose is, keep doing so and you may be able to better clarify it and watch it manifest itself into being.

One of the greatest things that you can do for yourself - is to allow yourself some quiet time to think.

Vatican: Upset Over Message of Avatar Movie

It comes as no surprise that the Vatican is apparently not happy about the message of the new movie "Avatar" by James Cameron. As a matter of fact, they're slamming it. The Vatican feels that the idea of the worship of nature replacing organized religion is preposterous and is a notion that the pope has warned against.

"L'Osservatore said the film "gets bogged down by a spiritualism linked to the worship of nature." Similarly, Vatican Radio said it "cleverly winks at all those pseudo-doctrines that turn ecology into the religion of the millennium."

"Nature is no longer a creation to defend, but a divinity to worship," the radio said.

Vatican spokesman the Rev. Federico Lombardi said that while the movie reviews are just that — film criticism, not theological pronouncements — they do reflect Pope Benedict XVI's views on the dangers of turning nature into a "new divinity."

Benedict has often spoken about the need to protect the environment, earning the nickname of "green pope." But he also has balanced that call with a warning against turning environmentalism into neo-paganism.

In a recent World Day of Peace message, the pontiff warned against any notions that equate human beings with other living things in the name of a "supposedly egalitarian vision." He said such notions "open the way to a new pantheism tinged with neo-paganism, which would see the source of man's salvation in nature alone, understood in purely naturalistic terms."

The pope explained in the message that while many experience tranquillity and peace when coming into contact with nature, a correct relationship between man and the environment should not lead to "absolutizing nature" or "considering it more important than the human person."

Surprised?

It's no secret that the Vatican is suffering these days and apparently, the notion of spirituality taking a majority hold is a threat to them. It's possible that they're going to have bigger problems in the very near future, than nods to spirituality in the movies. Let's face it, we are living in times when science and organized religious teachings are going to begin clashing. I'm sure that the Vatican would agree that their future would look rosier if science would just cease it's searching. Everytime a new discovery is made, it changes the way people think, the way they approach their personal lives, and their personal beliefs. Science has always been a threat to religion and many have tried to protect the organization from it throughout the years. An example would be that of Galileo, regarding his scientific studies which began to contradict religious teachings.

For those of you who may not know, Galileo Galilei was tried in 1633 as a heretic and forced to recant his theory that the Earth revolves around the sun because teachings at that time placed the Earth at the center of our universe. In 1633 Galileo was interrogated for 18 days later when Galileo offers to refute. Regardless, the Pope decides that Galileo should be imprisoned indefinitely. With a threat of torture, Galileo is examined by the Inquisition and sentenced to prison and religious penances. The sentence is signed by 6 of the 10 inquisitors and in a formal ceremony at a the church of Santa Maria Sofia Minerva, Galileo abjures his errors. Galileo is then put under house arrest in Sienna where he remained, despite many medical problems and a deteriorating state of health, until his death in 1642.

The Vatican may have secretly hoped to completely block out their most egregious offenses perpetrated against scientific freedom. After all, they were wrong. However, people did not forget and in 1992 Pope John Paul corrected this error in judgment when he declared that the ruling against Galileo was an error resulting from a "tragic mutual incomprehension."

There's No Doubt That Were Going to See More Disapproval From the Vatican in the Very Near Future

The Vatican is surely going to have it's hands full in the coming decade and it's possible that the leaps in the realm of quantum physics are going to be the ones that really become a threat. These are going to be the leaps that may truly contradict their teachings through scientific findings. But is there not a space where both can meet as one? Regardless of what the future holds, it is my belief that you should be communicating with your God each and every day - and living a life that is full of compassion, kindness and assistance towards your fellow man.

As for the Hollywood movies that are currently ruffling the feathers of the Vatican, they may just be the tip of a giant-iceburg-of-a-problem for them that is soon to reveal itself. Besides, I doubt people are going to burn their bibles and start worshipping trees simply because of a movie . . . .

UPDATE: This really shows my age, but I was going through some music files the other day and this seemed appropriate to the discussion taking place here below. For those of you "in the know," this is a message from the Church of Suicidal. The metal band, Suicidal Tendencies:

Stonehenge: A Spiritual Transcendence Tool

Interesting theories abound from individuals all over the world that have attempted to decipher the mysteries of Stonehenge. One of them that I find most interesting is a theory claiming that Stonehenge is a center for spiritual transcendence.

I'm not talking about transcendence metaphorically. I'm talking about transcendence - literally.

You see, it has recently been discovered that Stonehenge has some pretty incredible acoustical properties. So what does that have to do with transcendence, you ask? Let me explain. For those of you who may not know, altered states of consciousness can be reached through beat tones and rhythmic sessions at certain frequencies.

This synchrony between the waves make the brain run like an optimal brain and a deep state of altered consciousness can be achieved.

The frequencies that generate these altered states of consciousness on the human brain are known as Alpha and Theta waves. Alpha waves occur at a frequency between 7 - 12 HZ and Theta waves occur below 7 HZ. Here's a bit of an explanation from Wikipedia:

"The brain produces a phenomenon resulting in low-frequency pulsations in the perceived sound when two tones at slightly different frequencies are presented separately, one to each of a subject's ears. A beating tone will suddenly be perceived, as if the two tones mixed naturally, out of the brain. The difference between the two frequencies must be small (below about 30 Hz) for the effect to occur; otherwise, the two tones will be heard separately and no beat will be perceived."

A "beat" doesn't necessarily have to exist (although it helps considerably). Your brain perceives the two separate sound frequencies as one, thus creating a "beat sensation" in the brain.

Now, back to Stonehenge. Researchers noticed that the side of the rocks facing the interior center of the circle were carved out somewhat to produce a concave "dip" in the face of the rock. This was done purposefully and for a reason, therefore, researchers started to investigate why this was done and what they discovered is quite amazing.

It appears that the acoustical qualities of Stonehenge are such that, when the proper rhythm is achieved through beat tones (drumming), Stonehenge actually begins to produce Alpha wave frequencies at 10 HZ to such an extent that it actually begins to ring like a glass. Combine that with the mind altering substance of the day, Henbane, and you have yourself one hell of a party.

Not only did Stonehenge begin to ring, but researchers also noted that rhythmic beats produce forceful waves - waves that can actually ignite the flame of a fire or bring it down. When they were near the center of Stonehenge holding a flickering flame while beat tones were being broadcast from a speaker in the center - the flame rose and sank with the beat. The further away from the center of Stonehenge you moved, the less effect this had. So for those participating in the center of Stonehenge with fires burning while chanting and drumming was taking place with the Alpha wave acoustical effect kicking in, it must've certainly seemed spiritual as they danced in rhythm with the flickering flames.

Researchers reproduced the acoustical affects of Stonehenge using binaural beat tones and played them for research subjects and then studied their brain wave patterns. Beat tones that were played with the Stonehenge acoustical properties produced near perfect brainwave patterns conducive to producing altered states of consciousness for the individual.

Imagine an ancient ritual at Stonehenge. The entire circle is literally ringing loudly in Alpha wave frequencies producing binaural beat tones in the brain and beat vibrations in the physical body that can be felt. Your brain is entering a state of altered consciousness, you are dancing in rhythm with the flickering flames of the fires burning - and the Henbane you ingested earlier is finally kicking in. It's no wonder human sacrifice was a part of the ritual. I found this tribal, techno alpha wave beat video to give you an idea of what that may have been like:

This is the stuff that gets me to thinking. Because if you believe in the science of quantum physics and that sub-atomic particles can "bounce" in and out of different dimensions, then things get pretty interesting. Because we are all made up of sub-atomic particles, therefore, if sub-atomic particles are scientifically proven to have the ability to "bounce" inter-dimensionally . . . then that means that, technically, human beings can do the same. Theoretically, human beings possess the ability for dimensional travel. And Stonehenge seems to be a perfectly composed mechanism for producing the Alpha waves necessary to reach the altered state of consciousness for astral transcendence. Which begs the question, what happened to the people of Stonehenge? For that matter, where did the Mayan race disappear to?

Just some food for thought, my friends . . .

Extraterrestrial Intelligent Life: Fact or Fiction?

Unfortunately, the topic of the existence of intelligent life (other than ourselves) in this universe has become one of tabloid fodder and ridicule. But the reality of the situation is this. Our universe is relatively unknown to us and still holds many mysteries yet to be discovered. And just when we think we're starting to gain an understanding of it, we are reminded of our humbling, minuscule presence within it.

Take, for example, the Hubble Deep Space project. In 2003, astronomers aimed the Hubble telescope at a single, one-inch square of absolutely dark, empty space (or so they thought) for 11 days and what they found absolutely astonished them.

When the image was reviewed, astronomers discovered that over 10,000 galaxies (galaxies, not stars) existed in that seemingly empty one-inch of space in the farthest reaches of our universe. A universe that is 47 billion light years in radius. The video below is a nice portrayal of just exactly how large our universe is and discusses the Hubble Deep Space project in detail:

We can understand the size of our Galaxy, The Milky Way Galaxy. But can we truly understand the size of our universe? Apparently, some cannot. Unbelievably, many people still believe that we are the only form of intelligent life that exists within it regardless of what logic may reveal. If you do the numbers and then look at the odds - you soon come to realize that it is completely ignorant to perpetuate that belief. It becomes more believable to agree with those that claim the government has known of the existence of alien life for years, but simply chose to develop the campaign of ridicule that began in the 1950's so as to not spread fear and paranoia amongst the masses. If you're still convinced that our government doesn't accept this as fact themselves, then try the video below on for size. This is NASA footage of two orbs visiting the Space Shuttle in flight. You can hear the discussion (or lack thereof, due to amazement) taking place between mission control and the Space Shuttle. Many consider these orbs to be probes. Unmanned alien aircraft that have the ability to bounce inter-dimensionally thus allowing them to disappear and reappear in our 3 dimensional material world at will. And much to the surprise of many, the Vatican just recently acknowledged the possibility of the existence of alien life and there are also recent reports that world leaders have attended United Nations meetings on the topic and that the Vatican's announcement followed shortly thereafter one of those meetings. It's quite possible that our world leaders are now attempting to reverse the ridicule that began in the 1950's and are now trying to figure out a way to slowly divulge this information as fact to the public at large. But for those that are logical thinkers, I don't think that will come as any real surprise. Many thanks to The Breet Report for catching the NASA video below:

Human Evolution: Primal Instincts Prevail

Every living thing on this earth has to evolve in order to survive. Those very same primal survival concepts apply to many things in life. Take the business world, for example. Businesses that are not flexible and do not evolve and grow eventually get left behind and dissipate. The same thing happens to the amphibian that needs oxygen, but doesn't evolve some way to receive it from it's watery surroundings or develop legs to hoist itself out of the water and onto land to breath it.

Happiness. What is it truly? For the human race, it seems to be something rather unattainable. And many times, when you find you've received a moment of happiness from the universe, you soon come to realize that the moment passes all too quickly. Happiness does not come in the form of "things" and "stuff." Materialistic viewpoints and this material way of life we've developed for ourselves has left us all feeling rather empty, has it not?

When you indulge yourself, your ego and your materialistic side - happiness comes quickly, but dissipates equally as fast. When you help and assist others, financially or otherwise, that feeling lasts much longer and is an overall lingering feeling of wellness in which it's effects are felt for much longer than the satisfaction received from simply indulging your ego and receiving instant gratification.

The Human Race is Not Evolving as Quickly as Other Species

In fact, humanity seems to be stuck in an evolutionary loop hole, if you will. You see, our ancestors passed many things along to us. Some of these things we embrace and some of these things we reject. But one of those things is beyond our control and that is their DNA, their blueprint mapping. Our interior programming, if you will.

The human brain still works in relatively the same exact way it did thousands and thousands of years ago. The same thought patterns, the same knee-jerk reactions and impulses and the same driving force - survival. Our ancestors experienced an existence that was short lived, highly competitive, deadly and barbaric. You had to be competitive for food, mating purposes, shelter and the care of your offspring. It also meant that you had to be fierce. You had to fight to protect your family, shelter, mate, offspring and food resources.

Bottom line it required a mentality of "kill or be killed." It's a very primal mentality set in place to ensure continuation of the species. Having said that and looking at the differences between early man's way of life and today's civilized, cultured way of life . . . you'd think by now we would have outgrown some of that competitive mentality. You'd think the human race, as a species, would've evolved much more than it currently has throughout the ages. When you dissect this topic, you soon realize it has much to do with our current levels of happiness. You see, on a primal level we're not necessarily programmed for built-in happiness.

We're Programmed to be Fierce Warriors and Highly Competitive in Order to Survive

If early man sat back on his laurels and said, "You know, I'm really happy. I have enough food resources and a strong shelter. I have a mate to care for and rear my offspring. Life is good so I'm going to retire and sit back and enjoy it." The very next day this man would've been dead. Another in the tribe or a neighboring tribe would've sensed his contentedness and sniffed it out like weakness. Another tribe member would've said to himself, "There's an opportunity here to ensure MY survival. I need a mate. His house is stronger than mine and his fields are richer than mine. He's done fighting so I'm going to finish him off and better own my lifestyle."

And so the story goes. We are behaving as if we are constantly under attack and in survival mode - when the modern world no longer dictates that we need to be so very competitive to such an extent. The constant destruction to ensure survival is no longer necessary and seems rather out of place in modern times. But yet we create that environment and atmosphere for ourselves and many times, in our own heads. Sounds much like the modern day corporate world, does it not? You want to reach the top and be the guy in the big office on the 31st floor? No problem. You just have to run over and beat out all the people on those 31 floors to get there. (I'm exaggerating my point, of course, but you get it.)

It's Quite Clear That the Human Race Needs to Evolve ~ and Fast

If we don't, we're going to destroy ourselves and each other. We will simply succumb to being another great civilization in history that proved to be the destruction of itself. If we do not evolve from primal mentality and develop new thought patterns and ways of living in harmony with one another and our surroundings as a society, we will simply continue to compete, continue to crush our opponents and continue the demise of our species.

Let's face it, we don't have much use for those primal survival skills to that severe of an extent anymore. We don't need to stockpile and hoard resources, we don't need to dominate and intimidate others as much and it isn't necessary to try and keep others from advancing. There's plenty to go around.

What we need to do is stop obsessing over material gains.

You can't take all your "stuff" with you when your dead and no one will be standing at your funeral saying, "Boy, he was a great guy. He had a lot of stuff." We need to accept that we can now stop with the survival mentality and relax a bit in our surroundings. Enjoy your resources and shelter. No one's coming to take them from you. Those living in the next town over are not forming an invading tribe to come and pillage it from you.

If We All Live in Harmony, the Bounties of this Universe are so Plentiful ~ There's Plenty to Go Around if it's Spread Out Evenly

It's time to evolve as a society, a species and a culture to make sure that happens. Our very survival depends on it and forming new thought patterns and ways of advancing and interacting with one another will help to manifest this evolutionary leap that our species needs to make.

Do your part and make a conscious effort to live in harmony - rather than survival mode.

He Sees You, And Loves You Still

Have you ever heard the Alanis Morrissette song, "Still?" Alanis wrote this song from the perspective of God speaking to mankind.

I can relate to the personal journey of Alanis Morrissette in many ways. Her hit album, "Jagged Little Pill" exploded onto the scene after it's release in 1995 and at that time, it was clear . . . Alanis had been through the ringer so-to-speak.

In the album, she shared her raw emotion about heartbreaks, lost love and anger in vivid detail and the album has sold approximately 17 million copies since.

Ironically, Alanis Morissette's most creative moments - and greatest successes in life - actually came from her personal tribulations and deep sorrow.

After the huge success of that album, Alanis took a year and a half off and spent time in India where she rejuvenated herself and refreshed her soul seeking new inspirations for creativity.

And low and behold, the jaded jewel came back singing positive praises and sending gratitude. She was no longer that angry, jaded girl and that single experience changed her forever.

Alanis credits her spiritual experiences in India for the inspiration for this:

"I am the harm which you inflict; I am your brilliance and frustration. I'm the nuclear bombs if they're to hit; I am your immaturity and your indignance. I am your misfits and your praised; I am your doubt and your conviction. I am your charity and your rape; I am your grasping and expectation.

I see you averting your glances; I see you cheering on the war. I see you ignoring your children; and I love you still. And I love you still.

I am your joy and your regret; I am your fury and your elation. I am your yearning and your sweat; I am your faithless and your religion. I see you altering history; I see you abusing the land. I see you, your selective amnesia; and I love you still. And I love you still.

I am your tragedy and your fortune; I am your crisis and delight. I am your profits and your prophets; I am your art, I am your vice. I am your death and your decisions; I am your passion and your plight. I am your sickness and convalescence; I am your weapons and your light.

I see you holding your grudges; I see you gunning them down. I see you silencing your sisters, and I love you still. And I love you still. I see you lie to your country; I see you forcing them out. I see you blaming each other; and I love you still. And I love you still."

Responsible Parenting: Ensuring Human Survival

The documentary, "The Dalai Lama Renaissance," captures the unfolding of a 3 day event in which the Dalai Lama invited 40 of the world's leading innovative, influential thinkers to his residence in the Himalayan mountains of Northern India to openly discuss the world’s problems and to explore solutions together.

Those invited represented a varied group that included leading journalists, scholars, scientists, professors, publishers, economists and influential social leaders. They were asked to work together with one another to answer the question, "What can we do to protect and ensure the future of humanity?" Each attendee was considered to be a "satellite" of sorts that would then return home and spread the word through influential channels to build global awareness.

Surprisingly, even in the presence of the Dali Lama, human egos prevailed and it looked as if these great minds may be unable to shed their individual agendas and remove themselves enough to see the "bigger picture." Many approached the task from an angle of immediate actions - to yield immediate solutions. This brought up a topic that the Dali Lama spoke on . . . and that I think many people need to hear.

The Topic of One-Sidedness and Narrow Mindedness

It's localized thinking that grants instant satisfaction in the "here and now" - but has little regard for long-term realizations. Feeding the ego . . .

The Dalai Lama explained it simply, elegantly and beautifully. Modern man is consumed with this notion of "instant gratification." And our saturation in new technologies now grants us that instant gratification regularly. It can't come soon enough. If we could get it in 5 minutes 4 years ago, we need to get it in 2 minutes now . . . and by next year, we'll expect it in 30 seconds. As each gratification is received and then validated, it only raises the bar to push us to demand it even faster - and to expect it in a nano-second. Entitlement. Tell someone, "no" or "you have to wait" these days and watch what happens. They'll look at you like you have three heads. We're spoiled, folks. Spoiled, rotten brats. "Gimme, gimme, gimme! I want it NOW!" And we think nothing of voicing those types of demands DAILY. Think of how entitled we've become.

So, what happens when everyone is consumed with instant gratification and steeped in the material world of the "here and now," chasing selfish gains? Long-term effects are ignored. "This is making me happy right now. In THIS MOMENT, this is what I want and I'm feeling satisfied and I don't care about 10, 20, 50 or even 100 years from now. I won't be here."

That type of behavior is one sided (selfish) and narrow minded (ignorant). The human race has the ability to know the difference between right and wrong. It's a very simple concept to understand, yet many choose to look the other way. Where has our morality gone? Where has our compassion for one another disappeared to? I watched an animal rescue program where two 8 year old children cut the ears off of a 12 week old puppy with scissors in the backyard one afternoon - so they could fight it on the streets. The children did this while the parents were sitting inside, knowingly (due to the puppy's shrieks of pain), yet indulging these children via ignorance. These same children were then accused of stealing beloved family pets from neighbors backyards and using them as a training devices - to teach their fighting dogs violence. If our children are able to perform such horrific, heartless acts at such a young age, what does that say about our race and how we are raising them?

Take Another Example, Woodstock

Did you happen to notice the difference between the teens that attended the event in 1969 versus the teens that attended the event in 1999? Did you notice the difference in the "energy" that was generated at each of these events? In 1969, there were naked women running around all over the place and many people were using drugs heavily, yet a feeling of "love, peace and brotherhood of man" prevailed. In 1999, women were being gang raped and a feeling of "hatred and violence" prevailed. Of course, there were some "hiccups" at the 1969 event, however, I don't think even the hiccups were as bad in 1969 as the "reality" was in 1999. It was a sad reflection on modern youth.

MTV, which had been providing live coverage, removed its entire crew. MTV host, Kurt Loder, described the scene in the July 27, 1999 issue of USA Today:

"It was dangerous to be around. The whole scene was scary. There were just waves of hatred bouncing around the place. It was clear we had to get out of there. It was like a concentration camp (. . .) There was a palpable mood of anger."

Not only was there anger and rape, there were numerous reports of violence and fires which ultimately led to an abrupt ending of the show. My, how things have changed, haven't they?

The prevalent energy was anger, a palpable feeling of anger. Our youth is angry and they don't care about, or value, much of anything. "Taking for granted" would be a better way to describe our current youth. And consequences? What are those?

Where is Everyone's Responsibility?

I watched one of those Nanny 911 shows on television where two grown adults are totally being railroaded by three 5 year olds. How pathetic is it that we, as a society, need to hire professionals to come into our homes to teach us how to properly parent and set limits, rules and boundaries? Isn't that a "no brainer?" I realize raising children is difficult in modern times, but it appears as if it's never occurred to these parents that boundaries need to be set. That there are rules and consequences - and that it's their job as a parent to teach their children this concept. To prepare their children for the many disappointments and obstacles that adult life will undoubtedly challenge them with and to grant them the psychological coping skills to overcome such tribulations.

Many children are over-indulged, never reprimanded and never allowed to experience disappointment or failure. Many parents assume that because the family lives in a nice big home and the kids have beautiful rooms and lots of toys, that this is somehow good parenting. Materialism runs rampant in our society! Adults don't dish out discipline, it's not politically correct to reprimand your child anymore. Instead, parents have taken to dishing out "things." Lots and lots of things. When this is done, children then learn to associate "things" with love and emotions. They begin to form emotional attachments to "things" instead of people. One could possibly conclude that, that type of parenting may be what has led to such an increase in the adult psychological disorder of "hoarding." A condition in which the hoarder cannot rid themselves of "things" - because they feel an emotional attachment to them.

I don't know about you, but I want to raise my child to value people and relationships (humanity) - not "things." Not only that, if you never allow your child to experience disappointment, consequences or pain of any sort - and you're relentlessly feeling compelled to swoop in like a superhero to clean things up for them all the time, you will watch your child grow up into an adult with coping disabilities and an inability to form healthy bonds or relationships. As an adult, any little thing in life that proves to be an obstacle for them, they will be unable to summon up the courage and confidence to overcome.

Do You Know Someone Whose Considered Dramatic?

Do you know someone who, when any little thing goes wrong or becomes a challenge, they crumble. They cry, they panic, they run, they can't sleep, can't eat, become despondent and depressed - because there was an unexpected $400 expense that week or someone at work has turned out to be a possible threat to them? Those are examples of things that one can EXPECT to happen in life - and one should deal with accordingly. If the troublesome event is a level 5 on a scale of 1 to 10 . . . why do they react to it like it's a level 9? Because they cannot cope, they do not have the skills. And chances are, they are someone that was over indulged in youth. Should they ever encounter a level 9 challenge in life . . . expect them to show up on your doorstep at 35 years of age with their suitcases and goldfish. They will not be able to cope and will not even attempt to. You may find them running right back to the protective confines of your care - even as an adult. If you refer to someone as "dramatic" - it's just a politically correct way of saying they cannot cope.

Children who are NOT over indulged and are made to be responsible for themselves and their actions in youth - are much more successful in adult life. They can face challenges and better cope with life's disappointments and obstacles - which gives them leadership skills and a better chance at achieving success.

And those angry kids at Woodstock in 1999. . . those were our kids, folks. So what does that say about US? Could it be that the more stringent parenting of days gone by was more beneficial for the continuance of humanity than the clearly dysfunctional and indulgent form of parenting becoming commonplace today?

The Installation of Basic Human Values Starts at Home

Now I realize that the above is not a glimpse of the majority of children today and many, many parents out there are doing it correctly. Nonetheless, those are examples of how important instilled values are to the human race and how important YOUR JOB as a parent is. I stress YOUR JOB, because I think many parents may not realize how they're failing at that job - because they don't view it as a job. They go to work and spend hours and hours each day attempting to achieve success in THAT job. . . only to come home and fail to put the same amount of time, effort or passion into THEIR MOST IMPORTANT JOB, raising their children with the life skills they will need to succeed and survive.

We each have a responsibility to one another. That responsibility to one another is what will create our future. If we shirk our responsibilities, we shirk our future. And our future starts in your home, folks.

As the Dalai Lama requests, don't be one sided and narrow minded. Think of the big picture that is years to come and stop with the entitlement, indulgence and instant gratification. As a parent, leaving your child to indulge their wishes may quiet them for the moment and gain you some of that instant gratification for the evening . . . but putting in the extra time and effort to TEACH your child to cope with their feelings and experience the consequences of their actions will ensure your child happiness in adult life and more importantly - our future on this planet. It's your - OUR - responsibility to humanity.

The Realization and Message That Was Reached

The message reached during the documentary was that we have to think of the big picture, plant the seeds for our future - and sow them with care. Responsibility. . .

As Crosby, Stills & Nash sang, "Teach . . . your children well . . . "

Ever Wonder What Hate Looks Like?

Have you ever wondered what hate would look like in physical form? How about love? What does love look like in physical form?

Well, those questions and more were brilliantly answered by Masaru Emoto in two books titled, "The Hidden Messages in Water" and "Love Thyself: The Message from Water." In these books, Mr. Emoto reveals the results of his various studies conducted with water and controlled experiments with "energy" emittance and its affects.

In his experiments, Mr. Emoto "energized" water with thoughts, feelings, music, prayers and emotions. He sent love to one water sample and hate to another. He played heavy metal music towards one, and then played "Amazing Grace" to another. He sent thoughts of Mother Theresa to one, and thoughts of Adolph Hitler to another. He then froze the water. Once frozen, the water was then sliced and it's crystal formations were viewed under a microscope.

And the results were no less than astounding.

What Mr. Emoto ended up with was scientific evidence for the effects of energy upon material existence:

"From Mr. Emoto's work we are provided with factual evidence, that human vibrational energy, thoughts, words, ideas and music, affect the molecular structure of water, the very same water that comprises over seventy percent of a mature human body and covers the same amount of our planet. Water is the very source of all life on this planet, the quality and integrity are vitally important to all forms of life.

The body is very much like a sponge and is composed of trillions of chambers called cells that hold liquid. The quality of our life is directly connected to the quality of our water."

For those of you requring proof as opposed to having faith, here it is. But you're still wondering what hate looks like, right? Watch the video below and you can see all of the effects that the energy we send to one another and shroud ourselves in everyday has on us.

Remember, we are composed of approximately 60-70% water, folks. . . .

P.S. I happen to think peace is beautiful . . . choose for yourself.

Mystics and Science: Bridging the Gap

As many of you are already aware, there is a movement going on. A movement from the trappings of the materialistic world . . . into the dawn of enlightenment. I've recently come across, perhaps, one of the most compelling arguments for the validity of spiritualists teachings - weaved from a scientific viewpoint.

Prove it, prove it, prove it. Isn't that what mediocre minds ask for everyday? Proof? I believe the realm of study in the field of quantum physics is going to hand us that proof in the very near future, quite possibly, within the next decade. And apparently, so do many others. Namely, Dr. Amit Goswami Ph.D, a leading pioneer of this new perspective. In his new film titled, "The Quantum Activist," Dr. Goswami bridges the gap between God - and science:

"Meet the man behind the message as Dr. Goswami tells how he moved away from the religious teachings of his childhood, to seek his path in nuclear and theoretical quantum physics, and how he has come full circle, through quantum insight, back to the very religious axioms offered as a youth.

With a poignant relevance to the problems of our day this film follows Dr. Goswami as he demonstrates how our mistaken views of reality have led to our current environmental, social, economic and spiritual crisis; as well as the means of correcting these errors. At stake is nothing less than our survival upon the planet. The Quantum Activist is a film for our time. It is a film for all time. It is a film whose very subject transcends time."

Isn't it about time we learn to accept this? Again, I will remind you, "Great spirits have always found violent opposition from mediocre minds. The latter cannot understand it when a man does not thoughtlessly submit to hereditary prejudices but honestly and courageously uses his intelligence." ~ Albert Einstein

The Human Condition of Selfishness

Nothing makes a person uglier or more repelling to others - than the human condition of selfishness. Selfishness is ugly, plain and simple. So, where does the human condition of selfishness come from? The human ego (E-G-O = edging God out).

The ego holds us back in life. At times, it disguises itself as your friend and the temporary satisfaction it provides causes to you further seek to satisfy it. It can become a real beast and once you let it out of the cage and off the leash, good luck reigning it back in. But it can be done. You can - and should - seperate yourself from your ego.

You see, in order to evolve and attain enlightenment, you need to realize that your Ego is seperate from your human side. There's a duality in life, a paradox. Ego is like a split personality that lives within you - and your goal in life should be to successfully seperate yourself from it. Ego is what produces selfishness and drives selfish behaviors. Selfish behaviors are a humans attempt to satiate the ego, to satisfy it.

And that, my friends, is where society and humans run into trouble. We are all so blindly following these days, like cattle being led to the slaughter, that we totally buy into the ego. And once you've bought into your ego, others and society around you will always joyfully encourage you to feed it.

That's why they call us "consumers" folks. We are constantly feeding on others and our environment like a cancer on this earth, gobbling it up and destroying it. Yummy, yummy, yummy. It's a varitable feeding frenzy out there, isn't it? "Oh, this makes me feel good, I only need one but I'll take 10." Or, "I know I owe you money, but I really wanted this new X Box instead." Or, "I'm sorry I was ignorant, but hey, I'm enjoying myself and doing what I want to do."

And those around you are encouraging it, "Yes, that's lovely, why not get 12 instead of 10!" Or, "Hey, you can pay them next week." And, "You have to think of yourself." What they should be saying is, "You have to think FOR yourself." It's easy to say, "Hey, it makes ME feel good. Besides, others are encouraging MY behavior, telling ME to think about ME, and supporting ME in my actions . . . so I'm living for ME, right?"

But, are you really? Ask yourself, "Whose vision of happiness am I actually living?" First, consider the company you keep. Are those around you selfish in nature? Does their behavior, at times, turn you off? Do their self-centered, immature actions or mind sets cause their loved ones to suffer? How do they love their children, grandchildren, spouses and friends? Would you want to emulate them? Stop and take a moment to reflect.

I'm not saying that those around you are bad people, I'm sure they're well meaning. But what YOU need to consider is this. . . are they a follower or a leader? Do they follow the stampeding cattle right over the edge of the mountain cliff? Or do they stand out, maybe even as an oddball of sorts, from the crowd and march to the beat of their own drum?

Because if you're going to follow someone. . . follow their advice and encouragement. . . you'd better make sure you know where the hell your following them too.

Where is their encouragement and advice going to lead you to? Is it going to be to a place that YOU'RE happy with? And where is their encouragement and advice coming from? A place of well-being - or from a cynical place of past experiences? Because the vast majority of people these days, in my eyes at least, are part of the herd heading for the edge of the cliff. You're much better off if you're the slow poke that lags behind and doesn't get it - and maybe even causes trouble every once in a while by ruffling a few feathers and questioning things.

I have found that throughout my life, I have been drawn to eccentricities and eccentric people. Why? All I can say is that I can truly appreciate their "spirit." A free spirit that flys and floats at will - following no one and nothing but their own heart, mind and imagination. I'm generally not drawn to those in vain pursuit of selfish satisfactions. When going through a period in life like that, trapped and earth bound, your light is dimmed. What you generate and emulate - is what you attract back to yourself. Careful, you are always creating your karma.

We've all been there. We've all had to question our lives at some point and ask ourselves, "What am I here for? What would truly make me happy?" If you think on that, you soon come to realize that selfish behaviors and the vain pursuit of constant fulfillment of them - only takes you on a tireless, meaningless course through life making very little progress. It's like meandering along the ocean shore without ever diving into the ocean. Selfishness will never bring you true happiness and will only keep you unfulfilled and earth bound.

When you're selfish, you're pissing around. When your free, you fly.

Are you flying? Or are you pissing around?

As an interesting side note, I'd like to share a personal experience with all of you that I had while creating this list. My original goal was to provide 100 spiritual quotes in the hopes that after reading, one might feel an "inspirational moment" of sorts - enlightenment. Basically, I wanted to uplift you. So, after researching for many hours and over the course of several days, I decided to stop and take a count to see if I had reached my goal yet.

I had arrived at 111 quotes total. Fleetingly, I considered cutting them down to 100. But then something "sparked" in my minds eye and I decided to research further first. The fact that I had a mental "spark" when first hearing that number resonated with me and I felt it necessary to pursue because I'm always attempting to be "aware."

A quick search of the Internet gave way to quite a surprise and I must admit I was a bit taken aback at what I discovered. Here is the symbolism surrounding the number 111:

The number 111 is symbolic of the Trinity of God, One and Three times Saint. It represents the God-Father in the Holy Trinity and it also symbolizes sky.

As if that wasn't enough, further research yielded the information below. (The mention of a "flash bulb" was rather spooky for me considering I described my experience as a "spark". . . additionally, I made a comment yesterday on "Law of Attraction: Vision Boards" that there was a manifestation of sorts from my efforts recently. Read on and you'll understand this . . .):

111 ~ This sequence is a sign that there is a gate of opportunity opening up, and your thoughts are manifesting into form at record speeds. The 111 is like the bright light of a flash bulb. It means the universe has just taken a snapshot of your thoughts and is manifesting them into form.

111 ~ This sign is used to indicate that your thoughts are related to the start of a new cycle in your life. What you are thinking about doing or changing is correct for the new phase of your life.

111 ~ Signifies taking the lead in creative expression, and it also has connotations of social leadership in the sense of directing the energies of groups of people who resonate well with each other.

Feeling inspired yet? I swear I'm lighter on my feet . . .
