"Mirror, Mirror on the wall . . . where did he go, and why doesn't he call?"

The Power of Mind and Body - Pyrokinesis

Energy. The essence of life. The invisible mesh that moves and vibes through each of us, through everything around us. Life itself. Creation.

Wouldn't it be incredible to think that we could harness and control that universal energy that vibes through each of us? Imagine tapping into the universal heartbeat, holding it in the palm of your hand and using it at will to help or heal others. Shall we . . . dare we believe?

I'm a believer. And it has always seemed rather "normal" to me. I can't really remember a time in my life when the topic was ever approached that it didn't just seem completely logical and quite normal to me. Sometimes, I would be shocked at anothers skepticism. Like it was somehow illogical of them, ignorant in mind, to believe otherwise. The "material" attitude towards life, although caught up in it myself at times, seemed the odd way to live to me. I used to think of ancient civilizations and how they lived. How they were somehow "in tune" and living in harmony with the earth and their surroundings. I heard a quote that sums it up quite nicely:

"Americans live as if they are their egos, Indians live as if they are their souls" ~ Ram Dass

And that's just how I've always looked at it (my life number is 9). I always recognized two very different approaches to life, love and this world. One that is material based and one that is energy based.

Here is a Qigong Master harnessing universal energy.

Spend a moment and watch him boil water, scorch paper and then shift energy from his feet to his chest - and walk on paper. Yes, I said walk on paper. . . .

This makes me think of another favorite quote:

"The most beautiful experience we can have is the mysterious. It is the fundamental emotion that stands at the cradle of true art and true science. Whoever does not know it and can no longer wonder, can no longer marvel, is as good as dead, and his eyes are dimmed." ~ Albert Einstein
